The man is a UK scholar, but he does get into continental Europe quite a bit.
Peep the section on the Netherlands and being the "home of Anne Frank" so it's impossible to call anyone antisemitic in Amersterdam.
Then also peep this book, where he tells an anecdote about a shooting at a Jewish place in France, and the whole time the French President is talking about the Jews who were shot, and then the "innocent French bystanders" as if the Jews who were shot were not innocent by virtue of being Jews.
Believe me. It's the same everywhere.
Look at the cries of "Dirty Jews" echoing through the protests in Paris, and then when someone talks about it they're sued for slander.
Bizarre.
Now, you don't actually believe that hatred is isolated to the right, now do you??
