Used the Cooler master one, it's temporary until Lian Li releases theirs for the O11 Mini.
Don’t use the vertical mounts built into the back panel of the case - it will place the gpu up against the glass (if the Trio X even fits there).
You’ll want an aftermarket mount that takes the place of your regular PCIe slots. If you don’t want to mod your case (remove the PCIe bars on the case), you’ll want to go with the Cooler Master Vertical GPU Holder V2, which places the gpu well away from the window.
I’ve had GPU’s vertically mounted in 2 cases and temps have not been different from standard mounting.
Things to be aware of when using mounts like the one above: * The mount (and GPU) will take up all the PCIe slots, which means you won’t be able to use any other PCIe card. * The mount like the Cooler Master that doesn’t require modding the case will push the GPU towards the front of the case. This is something to be aware of if you plan to mount an AIO on the front panel of the case as, depending on the length of the GPU and length of the case, you could run into interference between GPU and AIO.
Nice looking sir, I have the same case, was wondering If I could fit the GPU just like this, because where it it supposed to be would just feel too close to the side glass and bring crazy temps. Did you just use the Coolermaster vertical bracket and linkedup riser Cable 4.0?
Is this what you used? https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-MasterAccessory-Compatible-MCA-U000R-KFVK01/dp/B08BWZCY56
I have the coolermaster v.2 vertical mount in my 011 and its perfect.
If you use the vertical mounting of this case, you'll need to buy a riser cable and your gpu temps would suffer from the gpu fans being very close to the tempered glass side panel and not getting that much air through.
The only viable option in my opinion is to go with a vertical mount such as this : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BWZCY56/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_xFV3FbJFZHZTR
These kind vertical mounts also include a riser already and also giving the gpu more room to breath by taking it away from the tempered glass side panel.
Personally I like the horizontal positioning with a anti-gpu sag bracket.

Got this for my friends build and it's been good for almost 2 years now
Cooler master sells one that doesn’t require modding the case (though some cases won’t need modification regardless). There are other options for aftermarket vertical mounts, but they generally require cutting the rear PCIe bars (if they’re there - doesn’t affect case use, but it is cutting metal off the case).
Thank you for going on a deeper dive. For the example, my brothers Corsair 275R that cost $79 has a vertical mount (didn’t come with a riser cable). But my $120 coolermaster h500 doesn’t, even though I’m all of it’s product images it shows a single slot vertical mount (?). I bought this mount from coolermaster albeit only pcie 3.0 so there are some downsides such as having to remove it to do a bios update. Though I didn’t see any difference in performance in game between 4.0 and 3.0 with the riser. For context I have a 5700xt and a b550, so I don’t need the bandwidth of 4.0.
It can be, in certain instances. You shouldn’t use the vertical mounts that are in a case that push the gpu up against the side panel. If you get one like this , you aren’t gonna suffocate your gpu. If you go vertical you’re actually kinda increasing the efficiency of flow of hot air out of your computer, since hot gpu exhaust is now going straight up (how heat naturally rises) and out of the case, rather than into a side panel.
I went for the NH-P1 to have a quieter build (and for it's distinct look as well). I want to maximize airflow from bottom to top and a thought a vertical GPU bracket could help me. I saw this Cooler master one (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BWZCY56/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_M9MMJRKFSX3HTAJGTQ2G?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) that would fit my case but it seems to me the GPU would be too close to the CPU cooler. Has anyone here attempted something similar? Any tips?

There are fixtures to hold it in place, like this. There are cheaper options, but this is from a reputable brand. pretty much all cases fit a vertical GPU, but if you want a top mounted 360mm rad, the lian li 011 dynamic has a lot of space for it. It is plug and play though.
Thank you!
It's the 3060 because it's all I've been able to get my hands on. The riser I used is a Cooler Master but I would recommend you look for one that's PCIe 4.0. I wasn't paying attention when I bought this one and now I'm going to have to replace the cable at some point. I picked this one because it looks more sturdy and was adjustable.
I don't think you would have a problem at all putting a 3090 in a o11 XL.
I recommend it! I have version one of this cooler master one. I wouldn’t say it affects performance but it does make the card run hotter. I would say it is hotter by about 3 deg C. Which for me i didn’t think was that much of a big deal.
With how big these cards are getting, i think its way more of an issue how much the cards sag if you mount them normally

I thought about just jamming a cheap as beans low profile videocard in whenever I need to do that, but that would cost as much as just buying a replacement cable I think.
And that would be a rather expensive bullet; about 110 dollars in all. A bit too rich for something I will likely have to take a cutter/drill to, to make it work. :')
Coolermaster has this nice bracket kit that I like because the sliding mount would let me easily align the watercooling ports with the ones on the motherboard. But unfortunately it comes with a now outdated v3.0 cable. I'm not sure which replacement cable would fit it. I contacted coolermaster in the hopes they can give me a solution, but you know how that usually goes..
You can use any ATX case and buy an adapter: https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-MasterAccessory-Compatible-MCA-U000R-KFVK01/dp/B08BWZCY56/

Im kind of a noob myself so i doubt any of that is anything new, but those are the 4 that got me. Mostly though, clean your fucking rads. Those things are NASTY.
Yes there are. Specifically the Coolermaster 2.0 version allows for this. Source: I own it.

If you do want to mount the GPU vertically, I would use an aftermarket mount like this Cooler Master one (plus their PCIe 4 riser cable) which places the GPU in the middle of the case and not against the side window like the stock mounts do (which will cut off airflow to the GPU fans).
Using an aftermarket mount won't affect performance in any way (I've had it mounted that way in 3 different systems, no difference in terms of temps or performance).
As for AIO, mounting it in the front of the Meshify 2 is not an issue - it's a very long case. I had the Define R6 (predecessor chassis to the Define 7/Meshify 2 - similar in size) with a large 305mm GPU and a radiator with push and pull fans mounted front - even then, there was still 2-3 inches of space between the GPU and radiator assembly.
It is possible! But as others have said, it requires a custom mod (using this Cooler Master Bracket and a bunch of dremeling). Check out some of my old posts to see what it looks like.

It's a cooler master mount. It only came with a pcie gen 3 extension so I had to swap it with a gen 4
Yeah several. My complaints and part list are below.
Part List:
CoolerMaster Vertical Mount Version 2
LINKUP - Ultra PCIe 4.0 X16 Riser Cable | Universal 90 Degree Socket{
I wouldn't use the 2 vertical PCIe slots on the case - they'll push the GPU right up against the glass (if it even fits - the GPU might be too thick).
Go with the Cooler Master Vertical GPU mount kit - it doesn't require any modding of the case and will sit the GPU well away from the window for good cooling, though it will take up all your PCIe slots on the case. The one extra step you have to do with this bracket is setting up the PCIe slots to be PCIe 3.0 in BIOS (you'll need to put the GPU directly into the PCIe slots first and do this before you can use the riser cable).
Otherwise, you can just use a GPU bracket like this one to help support the GPU and prevent sag.
Alright cool! I made you a list. It can definetly be made cheaper, but these components will run amazing. All the newest generation parts (except it's ddr4) and white parts. I used the new 12th gen i5 (better than ryzen 9 5900x in gaming) and the rx 6800xt (better than the rtx 3080 average in gaming). I tried to create the best list possible for performance, while also making it look really nice.
The list ($2506): https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vxTcdD
I5 12600k (10 core cpu) cooled by a white lian li aio.
Rx 6800xt from Yeston, it's white and will look extremely nice in this build. It will get more expensive again soon: https://www.newegg.com/yeston-radeon-rx-6800-xt-rx6800xt-16gd6-ya/p/27N-0042-00088
Optional (excluded from budget, bios need to be set at pci-e 3.0 first) is a vertical gpu mount to make it look even nicer: https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-MasterAccessory-Compatible-MCA-U000R-KFVK01/dp/B08BWZCY56/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=1TT9FN4S5XFKK&keywords=cooler+master+vertical+gpu+mount+pcie+4.0&qid=1636960887&sprefix=cooler+master+vertical%2Caps%2C1...
2x8gb 3600mhz cl18 rgb memory
1tb of fast nvme m.2 ssd storage
For the case you can install rgb fans at bottom 3 intake, top 3 excaust and the aio on the side.
Good quality lian li sfx powersupply.
• It can be made cheaper by downgrading stuff, like the drive and cpu/motherboard.
I have an Asus ROG Strix 3080ti OC 12GB (3 slots, 5.5" / 140.1 mm Height, 12.5" / 318.5 Length). The GPU is sitting pretty close to the mobo, about 2-3 cm, and around 6 from the glass panel with that bracket.
Here is the link for the bracket.
Here is the link for the riser cable (only PCIe 3.0 is provided with the bracket).

Just to be safe, this is the cable riser right?
I also used the cooler master one. No issues.
I have a MSI 3080 and 0-11 Dynamic with fans on the bottom.
I use this Cooler Master vertical mount, and it fits perfect.

the 1660 is still a great card for sure! i'm curious, have you ever ran the 3dmark timespy benchmark on it and do you have a screenshot of your score? i would love to see it.
i also play on 3440x1440 btw. love to see fellow ultrawiders (lol). if it makes you feel any better, on my 2070 super i was only getting around 40 FPS in cyberpunk without raytracing. it honestly forced me to upgrade to a 3070 faster than i would have liked.. and now i can play with raytracing and everything on highish but i'm only getting 60 fps.... it seems like they didn't optimize this game for ultrawide like at all.
hey, thinking of vertically mounting my gpu in my nzxt h510. will this bracket work?

This is the one I got! Pretty low fuss. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BWZCY56/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_CTpdGb36RRCZ5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
There are a few aftermarket options that place the gpu away from the side window and don’t require modding the case (i.e. cutting the rear pcie bars), though they will take up all the pcie slots of the case. * Cooler Master Universal Vertical Mount * EZDIY-FAB Vertical graphics card mount * Cablemod makes a vertical bracket, but I can’t link it for some reason.
This one will fit : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BWZCY56/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_YVC4FbZBW4M4Q

It's not a 3 slot but it works perfect.
Update for anyone: Still no release as of yet for the Lian Li riser for this case. Just bought the Cooler Master one and it works, kind of. Making a separate post for it now talking more in detail about it.
