I have a 2×2x4 it works great. If you ever get one, get one that metal. grow tent As for the lights it would clear up those wires from your place. Makes easier to separate the room and if you keep track of the temps and humidity. You'll get nice plants all the time. I cycle a lot of garden plants out of tent for my mom to grow.
I thought about that, I figure you could use one of those grow boxes (example: https://www.amazon.com/CoolGrows-2x2x4-Small-Indoor-Hydroponics/dp/B01GCHXUVU/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=grow+box&qid=1597099808&sr=8-3) to control the oxygen level, I image it would not be easy tho for at home, especially considering coffee takes years not a few months.
I can gladly help!
Alright so since ur a beginner, I'd recommend a Ball Python instead.
Housing: 4x2x2 (LxWxH). To save money and not have to spend over $300, I'd suggest building your own 4ft enclosure out of plywood, melamine, or PVC You can get the sheets at home depot or lowes. You can have one of stores cut the sheets to dimensions you want also. Here's a tutorial https://youtu.be/40QGB_Q09b0. You can also do a grow tent. They hold in humidity and heat very well. Cost efficient also. They have 4x2x2 sizes, just flip it on its side https://www.amazon.com/CoolGrows-2x2x4-Small-Indoor-Hydroponics/dp/B01GCHXUVU
Humidity and substrate: 55% to 60%. Use a hygrometer to measure the humidity. For the substrate, use cypress mulch.
Ambient temp and Basking: 75-80F for ambient temp and 88F for basking temp. Use a thermostat for whatever basking thing ur using.
You can provide driftwood cause they like to be arboreal sometimes. Provide lots of hides to make the BP feel comfortable. Feed once a week. Leave it alone for 2-3 days before you pick it up again. Hope this helps! If you have anymore questions feel free to ask.
Would something like this be okay? CoolGrows 2x2x4 Feet Small Indoor Mylar Grow Tent (24"x 24"x 48") https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GCHXUVU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_3BV09WK9V2AWSXZQ6WP6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It's a 2x2x4 tent, can comfortably fit 4 12" pots. Purchased from Amazon here and using a 600W LED grow light suspended from the top. I run it at a 18 on /6 off cycle every day.
It happens. That's kinda how life works, live and learn. Here's a tent for $55: https://www.amazon.com/CoolGrows-2x2x4-Small-Indoor-Hydroponics/dp/B01GCHXUVU/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=2x2+grow+tent&qid=1615523659&sr=8-5
I'm not familiar with that brand, but a cursory check of the reviews makes me think it must be pretty good for the money. Seems to have a good amount of duct ports for future use. The windows are a novelty, I wouldn't even factor that into your search. The only thing I'd be wary about is that it's only 48" tall (seems to be common with the 2x2 tents) so I might suggest bumping up to the 32"x32"x64" version for $10 more. I think it'd be $10 well spent, IMO. That should keep you within your $150 budget. The hidden benefit (in this case) is that the more powerful LED lights produce some amount of heat, so combining that with your tent will solve your chilly basement problem for free (well, for no extra money anyway). If you have any other questions I'm more than happy to help.
Keep an eye for this 24x24x48. Little bigger and only like $60 shipped when in stock

I'm tempted, but the smallest one I found on Amazon was still pretty big. Would take up a lot of space in that corner of the bathroom, and I'd need to make a stand for it around my spare toilet.
It's tempting... Here's the one I'm looking at - it IS only $45, not much more than I'll drop on a couple of storage boxes at Home Depot. I may buy it and see if I can squeeze it in there. Hmmmm...
I found the tent but it appears the price has jumped. Probably due to the new demand from popular legislation. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GCHXUVU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_e-.Kyb3GEP5MH Proof of what I paid https://imgur.com/a/x8TFq
