I actually got this : Cord and Chain Cover, 6.5 feet, 2 pack Burlap-Jute Style Cotton ... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071F3KR6B/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_awdb_t1_k2zcDbE3WVP23 And wrapped around the cord to make it soft and slidey so I can drape it over the hood without risk of scratching. Works like a charm!
