I went with the plain white winter frost Corelle set. Not super expensive like most high quality bifl stuff, apparently super durable, lightweight, saves a ton of space when stacked compared to the thicker heavier stuff I’ve had before (basically the same as some cheap plastic plates we have), in the case of the winter frost variety its free from lead and cadmium unlike most other options (even when the material itself doesn’t have it the coatings/paints/glazes etc. tend to), and unlike our other plates it stacks in the dishwasher well (not leaning way over into the next plate and taking up more space and presumably blocking water from the sprayers). The one thing I will say is that if you get the set to just go ahead and also get a set of their larger bowls as they are what at least to me is a regular sized bowl. I am not a fan of the more shallow gently sloping sides design of the ones in the set.
