Was thinking about getting that as I have very little faith in that rubber band :)

I have carbon fiber and generally do 2000-5000 feet of climbing per ride so want to try to get something pretty secure (for bag) as the bouncing around will drive me crazy.

With a traditional light, I just used the "rubber band mount" on the non moving lower section of the dropper post. The Varia needs to have a clear line of sight past the rear tire, and I couldn't mount it in the spot I'd typically use. So I went for an under seat mount like the above. ... I actually ordered a different one, and the wrong Garmin mount to GoPro style adapter (both the underseat and Garmin mount were 3 blade with thread) and had to do a lot of Dremel work to get it to function properly. ... But end result is it's now mounted to the seat rails, and I have a fully functional Varia and dropper post that don't interfere with each other.

Yep, it's an e-bike. I was back and forth on if I just wanted a gravel or wanted the pedal assist. I'm super happy that I got the e-bike. I exhausted the battery yesterday on my first ride (was using Turbo a ton lol) and it's great to ride without the assist too.

Here is what I use. It bolts to your saddle rails.

Most Garmin mounts have two little screws that allow you to reorient the plastic insert 45 degrees. This would get you exactly what you want. Aestheticly it may look a little wonky as it will be centered on the light with the radar off to one side. Looks like a specialized saddle. Try This Or
