Personnaly I'd recommend the corsair HS70 headset. You don't avoid the hair dent as others have stated but it's a great headset, is wireless, had surround sound, and is in the $100 range.

I'd reccomend going to a local computer/electronics store to buy if you can but if not here is an amazing link.

So this wouldn't work if you want to use the 3.5 with the switch and discord for voice chat with the phone via bluetooth :(

I'm actually looking for the same, the only workaround I found so far is using the genki bluetooth adapter with my earbuds and use my over-ear headset 3.5mm with my phone. So basically 2 layers. Not comfortable at all, but for me, better than not hearing either the sound or my friends.
