> Phillips SPH9600MB - Not the best mic, but fine for discord or callouts in games. The sound quality will be leagues better than the Clouds or the Voids. https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Wireless-Premium-Headset-Surround/dp/B07X8SJ8HM/ref=pd_lpo_1?pd_rd_i=B07X8SJ8HM&th=1
Your link here points to the corsairs - just fyi.
What is the difference between SHP9600 and SHP9600MB? Comes with the microphone?
How's that thing working out for you? Bought that same one, but in white, like 5 years ago and the aux port went to shit after like 3 months. It still worked, but I had to fidget with the connection depth every time I moved the cable or unplugged it. Was real pissed about it, considering the price and Sennheiser's reputation. Ended up buying [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X8SJ8HM/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_FKD22SBFB23FN6WHQX9H](this one) from Corsair like a year ago and have been mostly happy with it
I got these. They feel a little loose on my head yet I have a big head and my priority was the headset not hurting my ears. Sound is ok. I use spacial sound for Warzone and it works pretty well. I would buy again just for the comfort.

Not earbuds, but I have Corsair Void RGB Elite Wireless Premium Gaming Headset with 7.1 Surround Sound - Discord Certified - Works with PC, PS5 and PS4 - Carbon (CA-9011201-NA) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X8SJ8HM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_glt_fabc_APBNRJHS5MXFDXR35187?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I don’t think the headphones are the problem here... being that she’s a gamer, it’s more weird that she’s not being understanding. Maybe have her try a few matches of DBD, especially as killer, to maybe get a little empathy from her? Headphones as the only answer here is just going to make things worse from the sounds or the situation.
Do you spend much time with her? Is she craving attention? How much of your time is spent on dbd?
Also this headset is what I use and I can’t hear my kids most of the time in them. I ended up going with the
Corsair Void RGB Elite Wireless Premium Gaming Headset
Its a little "loose" on my head and anything but the default settings sounds "weird" yet overall they meet my needs. I can hear well in Call of Duty and they are relatively comfortable and easily fit my big head and fit around my ears. They are also wireless and match my Corsair gaming keyboard (for what that's worth). I appreciate the input yet I'll likely stick with these unless they betray me down the road.
Thanks.
I like my Corsair. I have a 7 3/8 hat size but most sunglasses and headsets are too small for me.
Corsair Void RGB Elite Wireless Premium Gaming Headset with 7.1 Surround Sound
I use these and they are great:
have both the wired and wireless and both are good. The wireless need to be charged daily though (overnight). My USBs charge while the computers off, so not a big deal.
I like the Void. I've bought a few iterations for the last few years and have recommended them to friends. They seem to like them as well. It costs about $99 on Amazon
If you just need a closed back headset with a mic, Corsair Void Pro's. Better sound signature (for my preferences), wireless, and has a better mic. https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Wireless-Premium-Headset-Surround/dp/B07X8SJ8HM/ref=pd_lpo_1?pd_rd_i=B07X8SJ8HM&th=1
Another option is the PC37x https://drop.com/buy/massdrop-x-sennheiser-pc37x-gaming-headset

if you are in a position to use a pair of open backs, which let a lot of sound in and out so typically not used in public or close quarters, then I would go with one of these two:
Phillips SPH9600MB - Not the best mic, but fine for discord or callouts in games. The sound quality will be leagues better than the Clouds or the Voids. https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Wireless-Premium-Headset-Surround/dp/B07X8SJ8HM/ref=pd_lpo_1?pd_rd_i=B07X8SJ8HM&th=1
PC38X - A great open back gaming headphone with a large soundstage and a pleasing sound signature. Better mic than the Phillips, but also more expensive. https://drop.com/buy/drop-sennheiser-pc38x-gaming-headset
If you just want some music headphones, there are tons of great options in the 100$ price range. SPH9600s are still a great choice here. Sennhieser HD559 is a great option as well. The AKG 361 is a great out and about headphone.

It's about double the budget you mentioned, but I do really love my wireless Corsair Void set. I've had them for a few years now. They are very comfortable to wear for multiple hours at a time, they sound excellent (I have an audio engineering degree for whatever that shite is worth), I love the ability to mute the mic by flipping it up, and wireless is a huge plus for me as I tend to forget I'm wearing them (and can thus easily yank cords when standing up).
That said, their wired version is $30 cheaper but otherwise looks about the same, so if you don't mind being plugged in then the comfort and quality factors would probably be about the same.
I know in your initial post you said you'd rather not have something too bulky, but I'd at least consider the bulkier ones, as it usually is what makes them far more comfortable to wear. The extra padding helps prevent headaches and band-hair, and the larger ear cups help to prevent extra stress on your ear drums (earbuds/etc blasting directly into your ears can be damaging after a while).
Hope you find something you like! :)
I love my Corsair!

I'm not sure how to diagnose bluetooth problems. If you are intent on a wireless solution other than bluetooth, you would be left with something like this:
