It's most likely caused by dust that got in the joystick during manufacturing. Try using sensor cleaner, you can get it on amazon or stores like auto zone or Home Depot.
This fixed my controller drift. No need to take the controller apart, just spray it on the sticks and work it around.
This fixed the controller drift on my quest 1 controllers.
This stuff works amazingly well.
I did not have to take the controller apart. Just sprayed some in the area around the stick and drift went away immediately. It’s been about three weeks and hasn’t come back yet.
Yes. Buy CRC (specifically this brand) mass airflow sensor cleaner. Take batteries out. Spray it in the thumb stick and work it around. Repeat. Let it dry for 5 min. That will solve your issue

I don't know if I like that idea, you don't want the circuit board part in the gasoline. You should try to use a product like this If it is available in your country or something similar.
Can verify. My left thumb stick was drifting so hard it made most games unplayable. Bought a bottle of this stuff and dripped a bit into the thumbstick and it works as if it was new. That was three weeks ago and it's still holding strong.
Only problem is that I used like five drops of the stuff. I'll have this bottle for the rest of my damn life.
Grab yourself some MAF cleaner and make sure the air filter is looking good.
Sounds like you may have controller drift. If you buy yourself some sensor cleaner it should fix it right up (did for me).
Use MAF sensor cleaner.

For the rough idle, clean the mass airflow sensor. This fixed it every time: https://www.amazon.com/CRC-05110-Mass-Sensor-Cleaner/dp/B000J19XSA/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=maf+cleaner&qid=1549668234&sr=8-1

I would recommend cleaning the maf sensor with a maf specific cleaner
