I bought this spray a while ago after seeing a video showcasing it fixing thumbstick drift and ive used it to fix drift for both my old Q1 controllers and my Q2 controllers. Works well.
Not sure if this will help you, but I had the same issue when installing a catback exhaust, even though logically I shouldn't have had issue.
What solved it for me was disconnect the battery for 45 minutes and in that time remove your Mass Airflow Sensor (two philips head screws) and clean it with Mass Air Flow Sensor cleaner. There's a little ball on a stick inside the sensor that gets covered with grime, spray it until it's clear. Only use MAF sensor cleaner such as this.
My only guess with my car is that possibly swapping in a high flow exhaust messed with the ECU, or the sensor was dirty enough that it coincidentally caused acceleration issues at of installing the exhaust. I reset the battery and cleaned the sensor at the same time so I'm not sure which actually solved it.
Check and clean your MAF. Don't spray random crap in there, get the proper stuff:
