I hate to be that guy, but you can get Squids new on Amazon for $16.57, so you may want to lower your price.
Keep up the sobriety bro! The Squid is an awesome knife! I never liked small knives, but this one has changed my perspective.

A pocketknife I recommend is the CRKT Squid on sale on Amazon right now. It's not some monster pocket-sword, or a flimsy gas station knife that'll break. It's compact, durable, classy and it's exactly the knife that you're not gonna leave at home.
The Gerber EAB Lite was part of my EDC for a little over a year. Nice little knife, but I hated replacing the blades & from cutting boxes all day at work, glue residue from the tape builds up like crazy in that thing. Because annoying to open.
So I found the CRKT Squid on Amazon & immediately replaced my EAB Lite. A lot sharper & overall much better quality, too. Only a few dollars more than the Gerber as well. Currently on sale. Highly recommend that.

As long as you use it often and in front of your peers so that they get used to you having it as a tool and not as a weapon any knife is appropriate for the office as long as the rules of the company say so.
That beimg said. My favorite compact little knife that I carry everyday is the CRKT Squid.
It is a small knife that can cut boxes and letters easily and just feels good in the hand.
I also recommend uou get a sharpener to maintain your blade but as you're probably not going to use your knife that often I don't see it necessary. Hope that helps :)

If I can't use it as a prybar it's not a knife I'm going to carry. I abuse the shit out of my knives. My current EDC is the CRKT Squid, we'll see how this one does, I get a new one about every 2 years. Not a single bit of plastic on it and the blade is nice and thick, thick belly and point.
