Someone (I don't remember their user name!) here recommended Crocheted Succulents: Cacti and Other Succulent Plants to Make and I'm so glad I got it! I feel like the patterns were to the point, and had descriptions on stitches if you need it!

Pattern was Jade Necklace from the book Crocheted Succulents.
I used Red Heart Super Saver in the colorway Green Tones and a 4mm hook. Because I used worsted yarn when the pattern suggested DK, I had to play around a bit with the number of starting chains and stitches per chain to get a nice drape.
