If price is an issue, look at cuisinart. I have a variable speed hand blender that came with immersion blade, whisk, and measuring cup for $27. It's so cheap I honestly feel like it was a great deal, even if it broke tomorrow. I've had it for 3 years and pretty much beat on it constantly. It still looks and performs like new. The cup diameter is perfect, and it's deep/large enough to do 99% of what I need it for in one batch. I've never failed to create an emulsion on the first try, it's crazy how easy it is, and how fast it happens.
This is the one I have: Cuisinart HB-155PC Smart Stick Stainless Steel Hand Blender with Whisk, Silver/Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DOK0R2O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_r4.VybM4949FZ
I'm only familiar with the Cuisinart ones. There are many models. Like this.
