I bought a CyberPower CPS1215RMS which is plugged into a APC 1500 (SMT1500) for surge and BBU. I got the APC for free from work...I'm also on a budget. The CPS1215RMS has been fine for me and after one incident at work where I accidentally bumped/flipped an uncovered switch on a PDU and cycled a full HP2920 switch stack I greatly appreciate having covers on PDU power switches. Thanks to that mistake we have redundant PSU's on those stacks now so it all worked out : )
Tripp lite, in my experience, make solid and reliable gear. If you get either of the one's you've linked you'll be happy. The only thing I'd say is one has a 15 ft. cord, which is alot of cable to hide somewhere or bundle up. The 6 ft. cords are typically plenty.
To be honest, I'd really rather sell it with the rack or use it elsewhere myself... if the rack sells I'll get back to you on it.
Ahoy!
I might be a stupid bot, but you seem to be missing a price on your post. All sale posts are required to list a price. If you are linking to an auction site, you still need a price, but you can put your desired target price, current price, base price, or whatever is helpful. But you need a price.
If you are missing a price, YOUR POST WILL BE REMOVED! So PLEASE, quickly edit your post and list a price. Do not post a comment with the price as it needs to be in the original post.
If you do already have a listed price and I could not parse it, sorry for the confusion.
Here are the most common problems we tend to see that cause this message:
You still need to list what you were asking in addition to noting that it is now sold. If you feel comfortable noting what it sold for, that really helps future want and sale posts understand what the going rates are.
This bot is mainly looking for monetary symbols immediately before or after the numbers. You probably need to put your currency in the post and you won't get future warnings.
Sometimes automod has trouble reading this symbol and we have no idea why. The bot does also look for the phrases eur and euro next to your price, which might help. Regardless, you can be assured that we will not penalize you or remove your post when the bot had trouble reading your price.
The bot cannot possibly look for every currency out there. If you posted a price, then do not worry about it. If we see your new dollarydo currency a lot, the bot will probably eventually be updated to include it.

Similar device. I was using these before getting a UPS. CyberPower CPS1215RMS Basic PDU, 120V/15A, 12 Outlets, 15ft Power Cord, 1U Rackmount https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00077INZU/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_WX8SK1RMXWAPMS9RTW37
The stuff with my main router was on one of these: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00077INZU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1. The router WAN port was blown, but the rest worked. My 48 port switch was bricked.
My AV equipment was on one of these: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B072KPXD8F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1. The switch on this was bricked.
And my office electronics are on a cyberpower UPS. The switch on this lost the WAN and my computer NIC is gone.
The line from the outdoor box to my router is not protected.
Eero recommended this: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1079129-REG/ubiquiti_networks_poe_48_24w_poe_adapter_poe.html; I contacted support multiple times in order to get them to send a replacement unit.
The power strip is: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00077INZU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I've read mixed reviews online, some people say they're great and others have my experience.
Thanks! In terms of hardware I have a 6U wall mount rack. It has a 24 port patch panel (can’t remember where I got it from), UniFi 24 port POE switch, Cloud Key Gen2 Plus, Cloud Key rack mount accessory, UniFi Security Gateway, USG rack mount adapter, CyberPower Surge Supressor. I also have three UniFi flex cameras and three UniFi G3 Bullet cameras
In terms of software, I’m just using the controller software from unifi as of now.
I bought this PDU unit https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00077INZU - it's not that heavy, should it still be at the bottom ?
Rack mounted power strips (for things that don't need battery backups) and rackmount 1U monitor console.
Also, document all switch credentials in something like Passwordstate, export all switch configs, color-code ethernet cables, and purchase ethernet cables to necessary length.
Yes, I have this in the rack: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00077INZU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
So, everything that is plugged into that will be grounded through that via the wall outlet, is that correct?
Just saw that. So I have this Cyberpower 12 outlet PDU with surge protection. That thing is a no-go to plug into a Cyberpower UPS, right?
