It did get personal with USADA. Read Cycle of Lies. But it shouldn't have because USADA doesn't organize any competitions. It shouldn't be up to them who competes. I'm not sure why they exist because sport is entertainment, not trade deals or monetary policy or anything else that belongs in the purview of the federal government. But whatever makes you feel good, man. If it was you trying to win the tour in that era, you would would have been just as much a doper, and not because Lance told you to, but because every team was doing it already.
