The oven trick works if you can set your oven low enough.
Otherwise, get a big cardboard box, and put your filament in it with some calcium chloride and a fan.
calcium chloride is sold commercially as "Damp-rid".
The calcium chloride is a descant that will dissolve itself at some point.
The process goes faster if you can keep the box at 40-50 Celcius or so.
This technique works well to dry various chemical experiments as well.
