I have a few custom fit ones from this kit:
They are great as long as you prep your ears for the molding process - nice and clean with the removal of as much hair as possible.
A few years back when I had my triumph street triple, I ended up getting some custom made ear plugs made while I was at bike fest in Las Vegas. I’m not sure of the brand though. I’ve also been looking at these on Amazon
I use decibullz
To be totally honest, I rarely use them for around the city- but I always use them for any highway riding. Generally, it isn’t the street noise that will mess up your hearing - but rather the constant wind noise from highway riding. IMO earplugs are a must for any highway riding.
give these a shot, the hard material forms to your ears so actually it ends up being less pressure than even foam plugs, since those have to expand to fill
this is relatively cheap, they work great (used to use them for raves and such all the time), and will give you an idea before you decide if you wanna invest in something more properly formed to your ear
These claim to be and they are custom molded after you heat them up. I may order these actually. I lost my custom ones from an audiologist.
I know it's not the same but if you're looking mainly for some ear protection but still be able to hear, concert ear buds are pretty dang amazing. you can still hear people talk as the buds cancel out certain levels of frequencies.
Personally I really really love my Decibullz they're the first pair I tried and havn't had to try any others! they can be a little tricky to mold but you can redo it if you goof up a bit. and they're not too too obvious :)
Decibullz custom molded earplugs
You want something with a high decibel (db) cut. This link is to one that cuts sound by 31db. It still doesn't cut out all sound but it does help a lot.
I’ve never liked big ear muffs, but I bought these earplugs about a year ago and couldn’t recommend them more

If you're looking for something a little more comfortable... These custom-molded earplugs are a step up from your generic ear protection muffs, and they're super comfortable to wear all day long since they're molded to your ears.

Why don't you order a moldable earplug like this? You should have enough time before the show for a better earplug than disposables.
I highly recommend these

Get yourself a nice set of ear plugs.
The Decibullz Custom Molded Earplugs are a great place to start for fairly cheap (<$30) and you can mold them at home in like 15 min. I keep a pair in my travel bag so if I travel I have them as a great backup pair.
I also really like the Eargasm High Fidelity Earplugs because they're comfortable and still keep concerts clear and sounding good. They're also inexpensive, and my pair lives in my backpack.
My biggest recommendation though would be getting a custom set of in-ear monitors. Alclair has some really affordable pairs starting at around $350. These are professionally custom fit to your ears, and are also great headphones. using custom molded headphones is really great for your hearing because the outstanding isolation will let you listen at lower volumes. They also offer custom earplugs from $150 if you don't want to have them as headphones.
Treat your ears well, I have worked in Professional Audio for years and I wish I could turn back time and not make the mistakes I made when I was younger. This isn't like weight or joint health, there is no going back once damage is done, and you will not always know when you have done damage until its too late.
