Yeah, I have similar in the garage. Brilliant - bring a wet bike and gear in, everything's dry in the morning. And a free supply of distilled water, which is handy for various things (especially steam irons).
I have a rail in the cupboard under the stairs to hang my Rukka stuff, and stick a small dehumidifier in there. I have this one which isn't sold any more, but something like it would work fine.
It doesn't use heat to dry, so it's safe and doesn't harm the gear.
It'll dry soaking gear overnight. I put gloves and boots in there as well, those also dry out.
I have a NEW De'Longhi DEM10 to sell for £90.
