My house has a bedroom downstairs that doubles as my home office.
It gets super cold relative to the rest of the house which is on the top floor.
So I have to run the temp at like 68, which keeps the upstairs warm but the downstairs gets colder much faster.
Northern ppl, what should i do?
I was looking at these oil filled heaters (amazon.com/gp/product/B00FT5VAWI?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER). I thought it would be better for when we use the room as a guest bedroom, since it isn't as noisy and clunky as the space heaters I am familiar with.
We have a dyson space heater / fan that we like too.
What is better from an energy efficient standpoint if i'm theoretically spending 6 hours down there and occasionally overnight ppl may have it on overnight on mild settings?
I worry i'd spend more on an apparatus to heat this one room than I would to just run my heater thru the whole house
!ping OVER25 because I assume you guys have opinions
Which one do you have?
Our delonghi has unfortunately broken in 2 years, the screws came off weirdly and we put in a temporary stop-gap which came apart again in a few months.
