Maybe you can get a shower arm extension and adjust the shower head lower? Theres many on amazon. I had the reverse problem where the my shower head was too low and I used it to raise it up. I know with mine I could rotate it and make it go lower too.
Somthing like this but use it to lower the head?
6'2 here, I feel your pain. I'm in the same boat, always renting, could never find a good shower I can fit under...

used it for 7 years now between four different apartments, and it's an absolute lifesaver! No more bonking my head!
When I purchased my house, the previous owners had one of these installed. A few days after we moved in, my wife tried to aim the shower head down more. She broke the pipe off in the wall. We now have one of these.
I found these, shower extension arm, years ago. I’ve put them in apartments and houses. It has eliminated my need to bend down to shower.
There are shower arms like this one
According to the description you can use it with most standard shower heads and it can be adjusted 18 inches up and down. One of the reviewers included a picture where they placed it completely horizontally which is probably what you would need to do.
>I had to redo my shower and put the shower head up almost touching the ceiling
If you're renting or don't want to renovate your shower, you can just buy a shower head extender.
> you have a significant social and professional advantage.
Easier in those environments, not in buildings, just like how attractive individuals have an advantage.
Showerheads hit me at shoulder height so I have one of these to raise it up. It just adds an elbow joint and an extension. If someone left it out of reach, you could just hook it with a clothes hanger and pull it down. So easy to adjust, no need to put it back up when you are done.
Something like this is really easy to install. If you have any family that could help, or a tall enough step-ladder, I highly recommend it!
I feel like I know some weird secret here. Get a shower arm extender. link to one on amazon
I promise I am not some weirdly specific amazon shill. Its just amazon is quick and you don't have to go to lowes. Or the kmart of home improvement stores, home depot.
If you can't find wall mount that will stick to your tile, another option could be one of those adjustable shower arms that let you raise and lower the shower head.
This is the same reason I hate EVERY shower. Buy one of these, it will be the best $20 bucks you'll ever spend. Take it with you when you travel.
Search for articulated or adjustable shower arms.
What about something like this to try and get the shower head pointing more toward the back:
Can highly recommend this. Twenty bucks and worth every penny!
Get one of these:
Unscrew your shower head, wrap the threads with silicone tape, screw on the extension arm. Add more tape to the other end, screw your shower head back on.
This was a problem for me, then I discovered I could fix the problem for $20: [link] (you can even link them)
I get it on with 10 inches.
It was on my list until I found this:
For your own good:
I bought one of these when I moved in a couple months ago. Changed my life.
Here you go, OP.
Everybody in this sub should have one.
Just get a riser extension arm. Cheap and easy to install and will put most shower heads more than high enough.
