Got my first thing ever up on Amazon (a purposely dumb sci fi action thing I wrote with a buddy) and it sold 12 copies. First five bucks I've made off my fiction!
Here it is for the curious http://www.amazon.com/Detroit-2020-Jeffrey-Conolly-ebook/dp/B01DVCTO5A
Really, I'm just blown away by the small numbers!
I just released the 2nd edition of an action/horror grindhouse novella that I co-authored. It's titled DETROIT 2020 and it's a book aimed at fans of 80's action and horror films. Essentially if you like stuff like Robocop, Escape From New York, Commando, Mad Max, or Sharknado, you might dig it. The new cover was done by a former artist of the Deadworld comic books.

It's also on sale for 99 cents this week to celebrate the 2nd Edition release:

Here's the blurb:
“Sharknado” meets “Sin City” in this high-octane adventure that explodes off the page in an alternate future where Motor City has become a mutant-filled urban nightmare. Prepare for a book with a body count!
Praise for Detroit 2020:
“DETROIT 2020 is a pitch-perfect sendup of a "boobs and 'splosions" style actioner.”
“If you enjoy graphic novels, zombies, one-liners and uncomplicated plots, then this is probably exactly what you need”
“Moves at a very brisk pace and the action is relentless”
Dr. Julia Blaze recruits mercenary Dagger Estevez to escort her across the ruins of Free Detroit. He kills mutants on sight, but as long as she takes her pills, he'll never know she's changing. Will Julia find a cure for her mutation before time runs out, or will she be captured by the maniacal cyborg mayor RoboKwame and his murderous thugs?

If anyone decides to take a chance on it, thanks and let me know what you think!
