I did some looking at normal drills and this one is a little over budget but sounds like it would be a big improvement from his old 12v black and decker you think it would be a good work horse?

I figure I can get him the drill now and a driver later for father's day.
Strange, I don't see the MKII as in stock. Would it work with a battery powered drill, like the one i own..:
DEWALT 20V MAX Cordless Drill / Driver Kit, Brushless, 1/2-Inch (DCD791D2) https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0183RLVSQ/
Im able to do AM3 for 10 min or so without going flat, would I be okay to start using the MK2 or would waiting on the manual version be best?
Do you still plan on restocking the manual version this month?
What's the estimated lifespan on the MK2?
Thanks!
DeWalt has been good to me.
I have this drill: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0183RLVSQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_w7ZnFb7677B0C
Yeah after doing a bit of research I have my eye on this one, seems to get really good reviews for the most part and is definitely a big step up from his old 12v black and decker.

I figure maybe get him this now since i can afford it and then a driver for father's day.
The DCD791D2 is more close to my budget would you say it's a good choice? I figured I can get him a drill now and a driver for fathers day maybe.
