DEWALT Drill Chuck for Impact Driver, Quick Connect (DW0521) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000KKWLE8/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_AQWR20Y3ATP4TNBKN3ZA?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Went from New construction to mod for the first time and have had to tap things way more in the past few months than the last few years. This is significantly better than putting a tap into a drill.
The spam filter grabbed this post because the Amazon link has an affiliate code in it. That's the part of the URL with ?tag=<USERNAME>
which in your URL ?tag=hyprod-20
means someone is registered w/ amazon and their code is hyprod-20
and they're earning a percentage of everything you buy...and everything someone else buys who clicks that link.
We do not allow affiliate links, and the way to get rid of them with amazon is take everything from /ref=xxxx
and after it and delete it off the URL. So, your URL would become https://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DW0521-Connect-Impact-Conversion/dp/B000KKWLE8
That removes all the trackers (and any affiliate code). If you want to repost using that, the post won't get snagged by spam filter.
You need a hex drill chuck.
The best option would be a drill bit set like these. You could also get this impact chuck adapter, but it adds a lot of bulk. Or get both like I have, because more options are better.
Would this work

Will look into a new drill but I guess so I can finish this project, Would the chuck work for this? And is this the correct chuck?

Can you use a micro chuck in the bit holder?
Agreed. Then consider something like this: DEWALT DW0521 Quick Connect Impact Driver Conversion Chuck https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000KKWLE8/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_JmfiwbWTEVF0Z
