I've made these type of jigs before for drilling extrusions. But if you ever have to tap a lot of extrusions, there's no better way that using a drill tap IMO. The drill bit portion will drop into the existing hole and make sure you're tapping straight. Pop it in an impact driver, grab a bottle of tap magic, and you can tap holes in a quarter the time!
