I thought about the hole issue so I bought some extensions thinking that would work. I got this:

My concern with drilling a smaller hole like with that bit is being able to fish the cable through from one floor to the next. Is there an easy way to do that that I'm not aware of? I'm imagining I'll need to drop the cable down and get it close to the hole and then pull it through with my fingers or something. I've never done this though so that might a terrible way to go.
