1-1/2 times the diameter of the hole. good info. i'll be mindful of that thanks. I'm guessing easy on the pressure and lots and lots of patience?

Super annoying, but here’s an easy solution: I purchased this drill bit set on Amazon and successfully put holes in ton of cute but non function (no drainage holes) plant pots
