Well, what I use isn't raw, but it is far better than the Beneful she was eating at the shelter I got her from. For a while after the Beneful, she was eating Purina One Beyond, which was their natural formula. I'm not sure if they make it anymore- I switched because I could get food online for cheaper that was rated higher nutritionally.
Right now, I buy Diamond Naturals in the chicken and rice formula. About $35 for a 40 lb. bag. The kibbles are pretty small.
In the past I also bought Nutro MAX, also chicken and rice, about $27 for a 30 lb. bag. The link is to the large breed formula (big kibbles) but I also used the regular kind.
My pup has death farts when she eats food based on fish or beef, so I've stuck to chicken/rice recipes and it's been mostly fine. But she's not a picky eater, and has never had problems switching food all at once, even though I know you're supposed to go slowly.
