Below is a link to one. I think it is pretty expensive, but there are others, even if you scroll down on the page, that are less expensive. Not sure what can be shipped to NZ, but at least you know what you are looking for. You may even be able to fashion one on your own with some wire shelving. I had friends who lived in NYC in a small studio years ago who just had two wire racks over their sink for dish drying. You might even be able to get some wire racks that hook over the shelves you have so there is no permanent attaching required.

Is there second hand shopping in NZ? I buy things at estate sales or when people are leaving the country (not that Americans can at the moment) at fantastic prices. You might have to take your time to find it, but if you keep an eye out you will. The table I have I bought at a second hand store and I expect it to be my forever table. I have changed out the chairs, but the table, that is a keeper.
I agree! I found it on amazon in about 30 seconds. As soon as I get home to measure my sink, I’ll probably order one!

On amazon. Amazon dish rack
I'm officially old, who do I throw my $ at? Amazon again?
Edit: Amazon again. Damn that's pricey though.
Here's one with some other's recommended on Amazon. Surprised by the price, but probably worth it if the quality is good...
