My 5 year old almost exclusively reads nonfiction. The "Eyewitness" books are great (for example, this one: https://www.amazon.com/DK-Eyewitness-Books-Universe/dp/146543187X/ref=pd_bxgy_14_img_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=D0VJ59NJZFNDTD1VGB2S). They come in lots of topics. They have lots of pictures and short sections of information on each page.
Also, I suggest checking your public library. Not in the little kids section, but in the "youth" section, they tend to have a much better selection of nonfiction. If you find a particular book or series that she really likes, you can easily order them from Amazon to have around the house.
