I have the blue, and it doesn’t have the mesh head snare, or a “cymbal pad” for the hi-hat. It has another rubber “Tom” pad for the snare and another of the same for the hi hat. Mine came out in 2001-2002. The brain included the same pcb as the top of the line Roland keyboard of that year, so it has thousands of sounds and modifications and songs and functionality. I have had it for 20 years and haven’t fully used it all. It is super fun, but doesn’t replace real drums. Highly recommend the purchase if it’s probably no more than $200-250. Alternatively, if you can spend $400, I’d recommend this e-kit: Donner DED-200 Electric Drum Set Electronic Drum Kit with 225 Sounds, More Stable Iron Metal Support, 5 Drums 4 Cymbals, Electric Drum, Audio Line, Drum Stick https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082XMPQDC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_AP8E8D7MBMVXAA7JP7D7
Don’t get that kit. Watch this video which will convince you to buy the featured kit: https://youtu.be/wDCGZgTBd5k

If money is no object, go top of the line Roland. If you have a lot of money but not ten grand, go Alesis Strike Pro SE. Otherwise, watch this video which will convince you to buy the drum set linked below: https://youtu.be/wDCGZgTBd5k
