What my protagonist fights for escalates as the books go on.
I have several plotlines, each of which has its own mini-protagonist and its mini-rising stakes. They each start out small and personal but by the time we reach book 3 (the newest one, just out this October) we are in full James Bond Spoof territory— fighting to keep an entire country from using its doomsday weapon.
Of course, since it's comedy, this is all infused with a generous dose of tongue in cheek— quite dark at times, but nevertheless played for laughs.
hi UnBrokable! Sorry I didn't see this sooner... gosh you'd think Reddit would have alerted me. In case you still care: the book is named DOOM'S DAZE.
Hey Fickle, sorry for not seeing your question! I also wrote fiction. It was this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B6W87C4W
