I’m not sure what type of heating it is but it has much better reviews in terms of reliability and quality over its infrared cousin.

Ah, I forgot to edit my post--my mind has been changed by a fellow Redditor here; I'm convinced 240V is the way to go for me at the moment, so it's propane versus 240V.

The only issue that I have with propane is the constant need for ventilation due to N2O and CO buildup in the environment. For that reason, I'd rather avoid gases of any kind...
