Of course it is. Youre looking at a possible maximum of 60 consoles out of 80+ million.
The LABO Switch, DOOM slayer, and Fallout wrapped systems are probably just as rare or even rarer. As there was less than 10 made of each.
The Dragon Quest 11 console is probably the easiest to obtain, as it was at least sold publicly via a lottery. Pretty sure there is only something like 5000. Link
If I took it the states right now I think I can easily profit 200$ what I payed for mine~ I mean just look at this listing~
It's a whole system, not just the dock.

Amazon Japan have it for preorder:

Now if you want the best price you're going to want to order direct from Amazon.co.jp (not through a third party seller) but as of now the Switch is entirely sold out. In order to avoid this download the browser Extension called 'Keepa' ( https://keepa.com ), it helps you track prices and stock availability so you can be alerted to when it comes in stock. Because they're so popular they go out of stock pretty much as soon as they come in. So what I did is also download an Auto-refresh plugin for Chrome and leave the two pages open and refreshing every 10 seconds to see when they come in stock by Amazon, it was a long process, but when one came in stock I was finally able to snag it. Who knows, maybe you can too. I hope this guide is helpful.

FYI - Amazon.co.jp will be in Japanese when you first use it but you can change the language to English, you will also need to create an account for this other version of Amazon if you don't have one already, you can use the same email address you use for Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.com
You can get one on amazon japan tough.
3.) Highly unlikely. 4.) This is from where I ordered mine: https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B07SW64B2D/ref=pe_492632_159100282_TE_item 5.) Also, no, unless you buy it used after its release.
Is there anywhere I can get this for cheaper? I really, really like it and would love to have a special edition but I don’t know if I can justify spending half the price. I don’t know when the next special edition would come out that I would like, I really only care about ones from JRPG franchises. Thanks!
