A complete good tattoo machine w/ practice needles can be had from Amazon for about $40 . Of course you can get a fancy gun for $300 but really , your paying for the name and some latest and greatest cool looking stainless steel rubber gripped - needle poking device - Many at the Mpls Tattoo Arts Convention are already famous folks so their art costs but if you look at their equipment, not exactly $500 machines. Most of your cost is in alcohol and needles.
