My brother bought a bird feeder called “the yankee flipper”. It is the best thing ever if you have squirrels. It doubles as entertainment for the kids, also :)

For whatever it is worth, the only feeder I've seen squirrels not able to master is the "https://www.amazon.ca/Droll-Yankees-Inc-Flipper-Hanging/dp/B00004ZB4U"
(the tube is long enough that can't hang from the top, and the rest at the bottom starts spinning if anything heavier than a bird sits on it. We bought one for my parents years ago and so far it has managed to frustrate generations of squirrels. But expensive enough that we haven't bought one for ourselves. Yet.)
Tell him to get the Yankee Flipper (flippah) feeder. I have two and now the squirrels eat all the fruit out of my garden instead of the bird seed and also my garden.

My brother bought a bird feeder called a yankee flipper? I think that’s the name. But it spins the squirrels when they jump on it. Maybe covid has made us all bored, but that thing has given hours of entertainment, watching squirrels sling themselves through the air.
