Not the one mentioned in post, but I got this from Amazon and have two 27" mounted. I have them angled since I'm using an L shaped desk and it works amazingly. Super sturdy and easy to adjust in every direction. Only has a coupon for $8 off rn but worth it imo even at full price. The cheaper ones I tried had missing parts, or were just not good quality. Could keep an eye out for a sale as I think it goes on sale often. (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0855ZBPXD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_i_CJRV51P81T9N5TZTPDHY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1)
Sorry, it was actually these that I'm referring to
Its an Ikea Karlby countertop on top of two Ikea Alex drawers.
The vertical and top monitor are on a mount and the lower monitor is on a Dell height adjustable mount.
Heres the mount I used: https://www.amazon.com/Dual-Monitor-Stand-Adjustable-Mounting/dp/B0855ZBPXD/
It would be fine, but I think it's best for a symmetrical setup with the same monitor sizes/orientations. Something like this will be better for an asymmetric set up because of more configuration options, but my gf has the version OP posted with different model 27 inchers in portrait and landscape configuration and it works well enough
I would consider this style with a standing desk since you will be able to configure the heights a little better. These would probably be an upgrade over standard monitor stands but you'll still probably encounter some limitations depending on the mount locations of your monitors and their size/orientation (and you have fewer options if you have something immediately behind your desk)
>Very nice setup man! I actually have a similar setup (dual monitor, same tabletop, drawer and shelves etc)
thanks for your suggestion! here is the monitor stand link . (Make sure to have space behind your desk so the stand can move properly. 1-2 inch is enough)
Cheap and effective. Only thing that bothers me is that I need longer dp cables to route the cables neatly

Judging by this product I’d say it’s possible if you can find another arm. I don’t know anything about this monitor brand tho that’s a very low price for a monitor arm
They don't make the one that I use anymore, but it's pretty similar to this. It works great.
HUANUO Dual Monitor Stand - Height Adjustable Gas Spring Double Arm Monitor Mount Desk Stand Fits Two 17 to 32 inch Screens with Clamp, Grommet Mounting Base, Each Arm Holds up to 19.8lbs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0855ZBPXD/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_WS03V5TAV1CZ9N1N9AK9?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Yeesh thats way over priced. HUANUO Dual Monitor Stand - Height Adjustable Gas Spring Double Arm Monitor Mount Desk Stand Fits Two 17 to 32 inch Screens with Clamp, Grommet Mounting Base, Each Arm Holds up to 19.8lbs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0855ZBPXD/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_WS03V5TAV1CZ9N1N9AK9?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
As for the stand kid got this one and he's more than happy with it, built in cable management, 2 mounting options, 360 rotation etc etc but it can bring the monitors further forward on your desk than you expect.
I can't speak for this particular model, but I purchased the pole-supported Huanuo monitor stand last week and it has been great. It was easy to assemble and is currently holding two 27-inch monitors that are about 19 pounds each.
I'd go with a desk mount like this one : https://www.amazon.com/Dual-Monitor-Stand-Adjustable-Mounting/dp/B0855ZBPXD
You can put both center monitors on the mount (the 5th product image shows what that would look like) because the arms have a hinge you can get them fairly close to the wall.

I bought the other day when there was a $10 off coupon but it doesn’t look like it’s still in effect.

I'm using these guys. These are the 5th set of monitor arms I've tried and they're by far my favorite due to how much flexibility they offer with mounting height. That being said, the hinges aren't quite as tight as I like. Definitely would like to upgrade to something more robust when I have the money
are you sure? I was looking into this dual arm mount and it doesn't look to bad. I'm on a bit of a budget because of christmas and while the kanto dms look great and I should be getting a single arm mount I just can't afford it rn.
I’ve been using this mount for a while and it’s worked well so far, though it can be a little bit of a pain to fine-tune the positioning, especially since the width of the UW monitor jacks up the center of gravity a bit. There are quite a few other options for around the same price, though, I don’t know if any of them might be more suited to holding an UW.
the ultrawide is the LG 34GL750-B. the portrait is is the LG IPS235V that I’ve had for maybe 8 years or so. I absolutely recommend the 34GL750, it looks amazing and 144hz at 21:9 makes such a difference. I bought this arm from amazon to mount them both
It's a Huanuo brand sold on Amazon. I was skeptical, but it's pretty decent at holding 2x 27" monitors that are about 10lbs each. It's the only one I found that has a wide range of motion and is tall enough to be arranged in a vertical stack. It's susceptible to transferring desk wobble because of how tall it is, so I need to replace my Amazon legs with something custom. The arms are half the price of my the Amazon Basics single monitor arm I have, not as heavy duty, or as smooth, but it's the best one I found that was both available and capable of this setup.
Here's the Amazon.ca link if you're interested. Hopefully it works for you.
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0855ZBPXD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
huh, interesting! i bought an off-brand one from Amazon and it (the arm, at least) looks a lot like yours!
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dual-Monitor-Stand-Adjustable-Mounting/dp/B0855ZBPXD im thinking about this one
Table mounted monitor arms would save so much desk space here. Other upgrade would be a second monitor for each of you. And monitor mounted lamps (also great for desk space).
Top monitor is the Hp 24mh (75hz), the bottom is Asus VG247Q1A (144hz). They are both 1080p. The mount is https://www.amazon.com/Dual-Monitor-Stand-Adjustable-Mounting/dp/B0855ZBPXD
both 24" and its using this mount: https://www.amazon.com/Dual-Monitor-Stand-Adjustable-Mounting/dp/B0855ZBPXD
I've had my IDASEN for a bit more than a year now with 2 27'' Monitors stacked on on top of the other. I'm currently using this arm system and I went and bought this plate to reinforce everything.

So far so good!
The Mount:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0855ZBPXD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The Reinforcing Plates - I bought these at the same time as the arms because I'm the "better to have it and not need it, than to need it an not have it" kinda guy.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08X4CDYFV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I'm even thinking of expanding a bit and getting a smaller, second IDASEN and setting it up as a modular L Desk kind of situation. My hobbies require a lot of desk space.
Anyone know how this compares to the one I just bought?
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0855ZBPXD?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
Wondering if its worth the return.
you mean something like this?
https://www.amazon.com/Dual-Monitor-Stand-Adjustable-Mounting/dp/B0855ZBPXD
This one got it on sale for like 45€
I got this one.
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0855ZBPXD?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
I also got their reinforcement plate because I was concerned that I was putting too much stress on the desk with just a small point of contact
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08CK24TCX?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
Upper one and vertical one are on a mount and the lower one is on its original Dell height adjustable mount.
This is the mount I used
https://www.amazon.com/Dual-Monitor-Stand-Adjustable-Mounting/dp/B0855ZBPXD/
The thing is is I really like my second monitor and it's only from 2019 it just doesn't have VESA, what's the reason not to use one of those adapters? Also I found this that seems like exactly what I'm looking for what do you think?
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0855ZBPXD?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
I use this mount for my stack setup
I've got a dual 34 inch ultrawide setup mounted vertically. I went with a dual monitor mount, and this was the only one I could seem to find that would work https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0855ZBPXD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I initially thought I could use the single monitor arms that I had, but it wouldn't go high enough to clear the lower monitor. Not sure if that would be an issue for you though.
In terms of neck strain, it is definitely a lot better than having them side by side. I used to have one ultrawide in the middle and a regular on the side and it would really start to hurt after a while. With the vertical, I have to remember to look up with my neck just a little and look up with my eyes for the rest. It takes some getting used to, but I'm sure my neck will thank me for it. I sit with my eye level at around the top of the bottom monitor.
I would definitely recommend the vertical setup over the side by side, especially for dual ultrawides.
(I also got this reinforcement thing because having the weight of two ultrawides concentrated in one place on my desk made me a little nervous https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B08CK24TCX/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_asin\_title\_o06\_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
Thanks! It's the mount linked below. I liked this one because it can be stacked or side-by-side.
If I ended up not liking the stacked monitors, I don't have to buy a new mount.
Interesting, I did a lit bit of research and I think something like this should do the trick, right?
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0855ZBPXD
A bit on the bulky side of mounts, but sturdy and very modular in a sense of monitor position preferences.
Should be this one. I’m ran the same one then ended up switching to two separate arms from the same company.
All the mounts I linked to are for a desk. They clamp to the desk by various means and have one or more VESA mounts to hold the monitor. The VESA standard has nothing to do with where the mount clamps or installs on a desk or wall just that it meets the VESA standard for a display mount.
This monitor has 100 x 100 mm VESA mount holes, this means there are four holes in the back of the monitor that are 100 mm apart on center with 90 degree angles in their relation. They will attach with 4 x M4 screws that are 10 mm long.
https://www.ergotron.com/en-us/support/vesa-standard
You are looking for a mount that has two or more VESA (100mm x 100mm) mounts arranged with side by side or over and under and then clamps to a desk.
Here is a dual mount from Monoprice.com that is side by side (the same one I linked before)
https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=16246
Here is a dual mount from Amazon.com that allows for both side by side or stacking of the monitors
Probably one like this:
HUANUO Dual Monitor Stand - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0855ZBPXD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_F22CWAN223CGAQ02KEJ5
Honestly, I agree that dual monitor is better than ultrawide, as a recent budget ultrawide purchaser. I have a 29" ultrawide + 15" laptop screen setup running rn, and while it's great I wish I'd gone with 2 24" monitors instead. You hit the head on the nail with the ergonomics of a primary window needing to be directly in front. This is something I can relate to, especially when writing an essay, with one window on the left for research and one on the right for the doc. It's nice, but I find that I end up just using one window on top on the ultrawide and one on the bottom for research (laptop screen). Since it's for strict productivity, I think just two basic vesa mountable 24" 1080p monitors at around $100 each with a 40$ dual monitor mount would be the best bet.
Here's amazon links to some solid options:
Dual Monitor mount (up to 32" with pivots for nice adjustability)

I'd go with a vertical on the left and horizontal in the middle setup. I find vertical to be better for chat programs, Spotify, and otherwise more squareish windows. Hope this helps you in your quest for a new setup!
I am thinking of something similar, but with a longer vertical post:
https://www.amazon.ca/Dual-Monitor-Stand-Adjustable-Mounting/dp/B0855ZBPXD/ref=sr_1_44?dchild=1&keywords=monitor+stand&qid=1633520224&sr=8-44
(Amazon.ca links, not US)
Maybe doing some mix and matches...
This one! It's the best of both worlds in terms of adjustability and discreetness
Here: Dual Monitor Stand - Height... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0855ZBPXD?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Looks great!
How does the "KVM-Less dual set up" work? and what are the two things, is it a desktop and a laptop?
I'm trying to figure out something similar, I have a MBPro for work and a PC for gaming. I actually have two displays, but one (the Apple Thunderbolt 27") only works with a Mac. My 2nd display is a Samsung 27" which works with either. So I have dual displays when I use the mac but only one when I use the PC.
I'm thinking of getting something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0855ZBPXD
Because I'd like to be able to swap the monitors based on which computer I'm using, I sit on the far left side of the desk because this room doesn't have that much room.
Kind of silly I know, especially when I try to explain it. I should probably just get one nice display that works for both, like a Dell Ultrasharp 27".
Gigabyte G27QC 27”, BenQ IPS monitor 24” then here’s the arm stand
Dual Monitor Stand by HUANUO https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0855ZBPXD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_X3A5M67SEF9XE03GMYSC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I think your best option is the gas spring one
I was using a generic one just like your first option (VIVO 002) for almost a year, supporting an ultrawide LG 29WK600 and a portrait mode 22 inch monitor, and sure enough one of the arm that supporting the main monitor starts to slouch a bit, I replace them with the dual gas spring one like this one:
https://www.amazon.com/Dual-Monitor-Stand-Adjustable-Mounting/dp/B0855ZBPXD
I setup my monitors vertically stacked with the bottom (main) one near the desk and slightly tilted upward and the second one on the top and tilted downward for additional display and so far the problem was the top display is too light (22 inch) so the gas strut always springs back up whenever I slightly touch it and left me with about 2 inches gap with the bottom display
I might change the mount with this one:
since I don't really need to move my monitors around anyway.
I'm a big fan of this one. It's holding up a Samsung UR55 28" 4k monitor, and a 28" Asus monitor.

Dual Monitor Stand - Height... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0855ZBPXD?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Ikea has a couple of offerings. I bought a 60"x24" powered standing desk two years ago and it's been alright. Check to see if there's an Ikea family member discount available; you can sign up for free so it's easy to get.
Only problem I have is that the desk wasn't stiff enough for my dual floating monitor stand, and it made me dizzy. I ended up getting two much sturdier ones like this one which work well
You can also mix-and-match legs and tabletops from other suppliers.

I do that with this mount
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0855ZBPXD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_Yi88Fb6Q6HCWK?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I use this one except it comes with two arms Huanuo
Sure thing! This is the specific one I’m using right now: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0855ZBPXD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_f.lRFbA2VYSHH?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
The dual one can go about 6 inches higher on the top if necessary for more desk clearance.
I have only tried one: Dual Monitor Stand - Height... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0855ZBPXD
I actually was going for something very similar! This is on sale today...I'm thinking I may order it. Can't see it going much lower on Prime Days.
