I used a Dremel to smooth out the spot, 4 coats of paint and one of the sealant listed below. Very easy and looks good.

That more or less happens to everyone. The car is wider than any of us are used to by a few inches and the tire itself doesn't stick out... it's really common. But I feel your pain... I did the same thing within the first month when I got the car and I was totally deflated over it too.
You could take it to a body shop - which will likely cost $50-150. Or - since you are likely to do it again - you could just do the poor man's fast fix method which passes the 10ft test (if you look from 10ft or so away, it looks fine) by buying this stuff: https://www.amazon.com/Dupli-Color-AFM0360-Exact-Match-Scratch-Touch-Up/dp/B00HE66OK8
For best results, use some sandpaper to sand the area flat, and then shake it well and apply... but I never do the sandpaper thing any more. It's not a perfect match - it's slightly too dark - but it is very close. think I've scratched my rims about 6-8 times over my 29 months of ownership (Feb. 2018 to now). I just go out now and again and touch them up... they look ok as long as you don't look too closely.
I’m an idiot as well and curbed my back rim on the very first day I had the car. I purchased some touch up paint from Amazon for 15 bucks and fixed it myself though. Looks decent enough. Not perfect but you’d never know unless you’re looking at it up close. This paint matches the aeros pretty much spot on:

Dupli-Color AFM0360 Dark Shadow Gray Ford Exact-Match Scratch Fix All-in-1 Touch-Up Paint - 0.25 oz. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HE66OK8/
edit: I see someone else indirectly sent you to the same product. I used it, it’s fine. I’m not paying for professional repair to only do it again. :-) Covering it up works well enough. It stops that annoying/embarrassing strobe effect that you get when you have the bare metal rotating and reflecting..
Never tried wheel bands but I had the same thing happen to me 2 weeks ago and I was realllly pissed at myself. I ended up removing the aerocap, sanding the scratched area(s) with 320 grit, then touch-up painting it with this: Dupli-Color AFM0360 Dark Shadow Gray Ford Exact-Match Scratch Fix All-in-1 Touch-Up Paint - 0.25 oz. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HE66OK8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_N092XSG0BAH4M787Y6WG?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Perfect color match. Seen and shown on many YouTube videos. Hope that helps buddy
Same here, within the first week. Then another a week later... then a third HUGE one that covered the other two.
Ok, I thought, time for some touch-up paint. Purchased from Amazon, result looked pretty good (for not having done anything to smooth it out).
Then a month later, the wife grinds the other half of the rim.
At least this was all on the same wheel. 😝
Idk if that’s the same color as the aero wheels but if it is, I fixed my curb rashes by applying duplicolor on them. Link below is the exact color of the stock aero wheels.
Just followed a guide on youtube on how to lightly sand the area and apply the paint. If you really want, just apply the paint and it’ll look good from afar. . Dupli-Color AFM0360 Dark Shadow... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HE66OK8?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I have to disagree on the give up part, although you're right about the proliferation of rash.
I used a beat up piece of 120 grit sandpaper and my fingers to smooth out my rashed rim, then the Ford touch up paint (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HE66OK8?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) and it made a night and day difference in just a few minutes of effort.
Pull the cap off and look :). It’s the rim though. This stuff matches pretty well. Sand it down and paint over. Shake the bottle good or the paint will be darker.

My aero wheels are the same color ones as yours (TM3 2021). I have lots of those curb rashes so I just paint over them. Doesn’t fill it up but it looks good from afar

This happened to me and this touch up paint fixed it so easily. Just apply a few coats. Works perfect.
A little sanding and some touch-up paint and you're good to go. That linked 'dark shadow grey' is the best match people have found to OEM 18s. Used it myself when I curbed myself in a drive-thru. Alignment? No.
This pen is a perfect color match for the aero wheels. It also has a little smoothing tip but you might want to use 400 grit sandpaper first. It’s inexpensive and works like a charm, looks like new!
I’ve had pre-really similar curb rash

My post about this
This is an exact match for the rims. Just used it this week for a smaller rash. Yours is pretty big but I think if you sand it well before apply this paint and clear coat. It wont be very noticeable from a standing distance.

It closely matches the 18inch wheel color. Clean the area, apply paint
There's a paint that matches the wheel perfectly. Also the hubcap doesn't cover this part so replacement doesn't work.

Sand the rim with 100, 220, 500 grit sand paper before applying three coats of paint then two coats of clear coat, letting it dry 20 minutes between each, no sanding either once the first coat is applied.
Remove the aero wheel covers before sanding to prevent scratching them. If you have an orbital sander or a disc you can attach to a drill, it will get the sanding job done quicker than by hand.
Takes about 15 minutes of work and about 1.5 hour of drying time.
Good luck.
I ordered this from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HE66OK8?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details&pldnSite=1
I’m also horrible with automobile maintenance. I didn’t even bother sanding because I felt like I’d manage to screw that up too. I had a small scratch on my rims but I applied 2 layers of this stuff and it looks really good now. It’s very hard to see the scratch. Like you actually have to bend down and get eye level with the rim to actually notice the scratch. If you want it to look 100% perfect then you’ll have to sand it down and then apply a few layers of this stuff. But if you’re like me and just want it to look 90% good then you can get away with just apply this stuff directly
This was near perfect match. I'd recommend also using fine sand paper to smooth the roughness before application of any fix. Will help look better substantially

I used it when I curbed mine. It’s really really close to the exact match
I bought this touch-up paint that's supposedly an exact match to the Model 3 rims, but never actually got around to applying it. Idk if the color is close enough to the Model Y but maybe if you search around you can find a closer color.
https://www.amazon.com/Dupli-Color-AFM0360-Exact-Match-Scratch-Touch-Up/dp/B00HE66OK8/
I have the same rims I use for my winter setup. You can try to touch it up with the Duplicolor AFM0360 Dark Shadow Grey.
Amazon - Duplicolor AFM03060 Dark Shadow Grey
It won't be exact but it might be enough just to reduce how noticeable it is. Thats all i did for my wheels. If you want to take it a step further, you can try to put filler in the deep scratches and smooth it out with sandpaper before applying the touch up.
there's black porcelain enamel, not sure about dark grey for an exact match but may need to look into touch up paints for cars, bigger variety there. I was actually looking for dark grey varieties for my car recently, may be a good way to touch up the scuffs here since the material seems similar but I'm not an expert. Something like this https://www.amazon.com/Dupli-Color-AFM0360-Exact-Match-Scratch-Touch-Up/dp/B00HE66OK8
Sand it down real good and use this touch up paint. It's an exact match and even has clear coat in the other end of the bottle.
EDIT: I didn’t do enough sanding on mine but here’s a pic so you can see the color match.
If it's a small scratch, I've heard this works well. Personally though, I'd wait a bit until you are more used to the dimensions of the car. It will very likely happen again.
I read on several forums that this is a perfect match. I ordered, but haven't actually used it yet, so I can't give you my personal endorsement.

I did it the hard way and borrowed a 5" sander with several discs of sandpaper, so I only spent about $15 for the paint. The 5" sander was way too big to control for such a small area, and in retrospect, it would be way easier if you have a cordless drill and just pick up a 2" or 3" foam disc adapter like this with some pieces of sandpaper. Start with a lower grit like 80, then go over the areas two or three more times with higher grits to make them smooth. Then just clean and touch up with paint.
It may not be 100% perfect doing it yourself, but the paint is a perfect match, and honestly it's a huge waste of money to get this done professionally unless you are super picky.

Saw it mentioned several times on here as i've already scratched 2 rim edges in only 2 weeks of having the car lol. Also grabbed some sandpaper as well. Looks like a pretty easy "fix" or at least cover up

This stuff matches PERFECT. Lightly sand down, starting higher grit to very fine. Clean well, apply, dry, apply, dry, apply sealant
And if you happen to curb them anyway, this dupli-color touch-up paint pen is an exact match for the 18” wheels. Don’t ask how I know.

Cheapest/easiest cover up: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HE66OK8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_QsP9ZwJ4ULGuY
Hum. I looked at your photo and it looks like the tire itself is damaged, not only the rim only. I think I can see some inner tire threads so I'd get this checked with a tire shop. You might need a new one (2 if the tires aren't fairly new as you want both sides to be evenly worn out)
The others are right between paint (this one on AMZ matches - yes it's ford but it works- our rims: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00HE66OK8/) and companies fixing the rim. I personally just did the pain them bought tris rim protector from Evannex that saved me one day my daughter parked a bit too close to the curb after dropping me off: https://evannex.com/products/tesla-rim-protector

Ford dark shadow gray
Sandpaper + this and it’s good as new
Someone recommended this a while ago and I saved it in my Amazon list but haven’t purchased or used to be able to comment
Most people would recommend this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HE66OK8/ , but personally the brush application leaves streaks.
This is what I use: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Rust-Oleum-Universal-11-oz-All-Surface-Metallic-Soft-Iron-Spray-Paint-and-Primer-in-One-342498/307244772
along with some spray on clearcoat. Also sandpaper and putty to prep and fill in the gashes.
This pen works very well on my aero wheels:
For most affordable, I've heard this is a very close color match to the wheels.
