Ok, let me put it this way. There are people preferring to use a non-approved drug to treat COVID-19, with dosages meant for animals, while saying the actually approved vaccine is too experimental. If you don't see the larger problem here and your takeaway is that it doesn't also come in form of a paste, I'm going to assume you are not the brightest horse in the stable.
>> Ivermectin is available as tablets, chewable tablets, a topical liquid (for ear mite treatments), and an injectable that your veterinarian will administer.
> Not a paste, and it is one of many drugs that have animal and human uses.

The seller of the Ivermectin paste thinks it is a common enough misuse of their product that they put that disclaimer on their amazon page.
Ivermectin is given to farm animals as a dewormer and anti-parasite medication such as horses, sheep, etc.
There are flavored pastes containing Ivermectin that are for these animals such as horses that people are consuming in order to 'combat' COVID, which is where the term horse paste came from.
(Here's a listing for this type of paste on amazon, if you want to see what I really mean.
A couple of days ago, this webpage actually stated Amazon's Choice for "ivermectin for humans"
My 13yo daughter grabbed a screenshot and emailed it to her friends. Reading the thousands of reviews provides tremendous comic relief!
Durvet Ivermectin Paste Equine Dewormer - 3 Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LXKF2VW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_RZQW0VC94EKVXKVQCXWY
Probably won’t do shit for Covid. In the states you’d want the injectable called “Noromectin”… for deworming livestock.
It’s on amazon but it’s meant for horses because otherwise it requires a prescription. Look at the top reviews. People have been taking it.
My rosacea is now mostly controlled but when I was actively treating it, I used Durvet (Apple flavored) horse paste, purchased on Amazon. It's actually more of a gel that a paste, so it spreads more easily if the skin is wet. I would saturate a cotton round with micellar water, add 3 drops of tea tree oil (which is also good for rosacea), and wipe my whole face, including under the jawline. With it still dripping wet, I'd then apply the smallest amount of horse paste possible that would cover my whole face and jawline, including my nose and eyebrows.
It takes a while to soak in, and it's best used at night. As such, I'd make it a point to do it at least 30-60 minutes before bedtime.
Ok, so;
Ivermectin is a relatively new, Nobel winning medicine that can be used to treat a variety of conditions with living organisms, such as mites in the case of type 2 rosacea (papulopustular - the one with pimples, scabs, pustules, white heads and generally really unsightly and painful when left untreated).
In most cases, it's very effective and clears the face within few weeks (I strongly recommend going on a course of helping antibiotics from your doctor for that, as it helps with a 'die off', a slight to bigger but very temporary worsening of the pimples before it gets better. Not all people have that, but it's fairly common.)
For human use, it's usually prescribed as Soolantra; a topical cream. In most of the world where it's available, it's an affordable to cheap and sometimes even fully paid for medicine, and if your doctor doesn't know about it, mentioning it sometimes helps with its prescription.
I don't know where you're based, but if you're in USA, the Soolantra bit can get annoying and superexpensive due to the way that healthcare is set up to milk people instead of help, however I have seen people getting it with some pharmacy help for as low as 50$ a tube.
If that's not an option, either because you truly are in USA and your doc is a jerk, or because like me you live somewhere where it simply isn't imported and known, you can opt for 'horse paste'.
Horse paste is a colloquial term for horse dewormers; a toothpaste-like or gel-like substance meant for horses to ingest, with twice the strength of Soolantra (some people dilute it with moisturisers for usage to tone it down to Soolantra's level, some people use it full; in most cases it's a once a day application on the entirety of the face.)
You can get your hands on a dewormer in most farm stores or on Amazon, one like this for example:https://www.amazon.com/Ivermectin-Paste-Dewormer-Flavor-3-Pack/dp/B01LXKF2VW - you always want to make sure it's pure Ivermectin and not a mix, and it's for horses as the strength is easy to work with, either in full or halved.
One tube lasted me for about 1-2 weeks when applied daily; I now have a clear face with only occasional pustules so I apply it about once a week at this point.
Disclaimer:
I am not a doctor.
I use it without problems for nearly a year now.
Horse paste is not tested for human use. It is twice the strength of the tested human dose, and so far nobody reported any problems. One thing some doctors fear with this is developing a resistance, similar to how antibiotic overuse works.
Another thing is the fact that a lot of these come in apple flavour, so there's a concern that storing them too long out once opened diminishes their effectiveness and could even lead to spoiling; in which case I recommend not stockpiling on them but buying them as you go, maybe a month-worth of supply.
The substance is generally safe for topical use as it's super mild - horses are sensitive so they can't ingest just anything.
I bought this from amazon:
Ivermectin Paste Dewormer - 6.08g dose @ 1.87% Apple Flavor (3-Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LXKF2VW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_8H3uCbDRY533C
Bret should respond to the reviews here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LXKF2VW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_G9WN4WKFJPE3J94QACHF which he is in part responsible for.
I meant where it could be found. But yep, I just verified it can be purchased on Amazon (hopefully still ships to you)

Maybe try some keywords like "horse worm paste"
In the US
At this writing, on 2020-12-12, the cheapest price for horse paste on Amazon US appears to be the 3-pack for $17 ($5.66/tube). The 12-pack has historically been around $3.25/tube, but right now it's about $6.25/tube.
If you buy a different brand, make sure it has only one active ingredient: ivermectin.
Some brands have two. You don't want those.
In Canada
I didn't browse prices, but the Durvet horse paste is also available from Amazon Canada.
I ordered two of the three pack on amazon for a total of 6 tubes.

After cleansing at night, I apply a mixture of 1/2 moisturizing + 1/2 horse paste to my face. My moisturizer contains tea tree oil and jojoba which seem to work like a charm with the HP. Here’s a link for that too if you’re interested:

I’m really not. Ivermectin is in fact one of the things most commonly found in “horse paste” and beyond that the paper saying that it could be used as a solution to Covid was a pre-print that said it’s use was only good as a last ditch effort until specialized therpy could be found. And the MAGA yokels eating actual horse pasted which contained ivermectin caused a shortage for veterinary used so… yes… people were actually eating literal horse paste.
Don’t assume you know anything about me or where I get my information from.

These lies need to get less lazy. You folks arent even trying anymore.
It's very much a horse dewormer. You just have to deal with it man. Look! They even have apple flavor! https://www.amazon.com/Durvet-Ivermectin-Paste-Equine-Dewormer/dp/B01LXKF2VW
Just so you know. Equine means Horse.
All jokes aside. Don't take that shit if you don't have a parasite. It won't help with covid.
>stop calling a nobel winning malaria medication "horse dewormer".
i mean. there's a horse on the box.

It's not that it's only horse paste, but it does come in [horse paste)(https://www.amazon.com/Durvet-Ivermectin-Paste-Equine-Dewormer/dp/B01LXKF2VW) form which is funny, come on.
Well, the dosage would be much higher, but you'd have to get your math right. The recommended horse dosage is 200 mcg/kg, administered every 6 months. The recommended human dose (for parasites) is 150 mcg/kg, taken once every 3-12 months, at most.
But that's to kill parasites. People are talking about taking low doses for an extended period of time, to prevent or lessen the severity of symptoms of a viral infection. So standard dosing goes out the window. If you wanted to spread out that 200 mcg/kg one-time dose over a few weeks, you'd be looking at, what? For a 100 kg person, 20,000 micrograms = 0.02 grams = 20 mg. So...around 1 mg per day, over 3 weeks? Okay, sure. Let's do that.
But...the horse paste you can buy is 1.87% Ivermectin. So you'd need to measure out...(1 mg / 1.87% =) 53 milligrams of Ivermectin paste, daily.
I actually have access to laboratory equipment and could do something like that, but most people don't. And most of the people taking Ivermectin sure as hell aren't doing the math I just did. They're probably taking, I would guess, doses on par with something like a small dab of toothpaste. So maybe half a gram, daily. Over three weeks, they would be consuming around ten times the ~annual recommended dose of Ivermectin. To kill any parasites they might have.
But viruses aren't worms. I can't stress that enough. Viruses are essentially tiny RNA or DNA-based machines designed to bind to, infiltrate, and reprogram cells. Worms are parasitic animals that eat tissue. You are biologically more similar to a worm than a worm is to a virus.
They are fundamentally, biologically different from each other. The idea that an anti-parasite medication would inhibit viral function or human symptoms of a viral infection does not make sense. It is a) very unlikely and b) would have to be due to pure chance -- i.e. Ivermectin would have to have a side effect that somehow helps people suffering from a viral infection. Possible? Theoretically. But you might as well take any other medication and hope it works. Why not aspirin or a blood thinner like Coumadin? Or anything else...
It just doesn't make sense. On so many levels.
They have a warning.
I buy mine at Tractor Supply. You can get it on Amazon, too: https://www.amazon.com/Durvet-Ivermectin-Paste-Equine-Dewormer/dp/B01LXKF2VW

This is what caused the reaction/flare up. To get good long term results, I use generic Finacea every morning and generic Soolantra at night. I moisturize dry areas with CeraVe skin renewing night cream, and I mostly use water as a cleanser, but after wearing makeup or sunscreen I use organic extra virgin coconut oil for the oil cleansing method. I aim to use red box stridex twice a week for blackhead management, but I rarely remember both times.
Well was going crazy for a moment and I used on myself to get ride of worms I might of had or not had. But least my dog no longer had heart worms, CHEAPER then heart guard and paying outrageous vet prices.. Also gave a pitch or smaller to my cat and worked great too.. I took and strange things came out of my Body, so I will not no more... But if I get lice or Scabies I sure will take it. Best thing than what then white jacket goof balls wanna give ya.. Plus this really works for lice and scabies.. THANK YOU JESUS... AMEN
THANK YOU FOR THE REVIEWS IT REALLY HELPED MAKING MY DECISION. ITS ALL TRUE AFTER TRYING A MILLION THINGS (OR ATLEAST FELT LIKE A MILLION) THIS ACTUALLY HELPED ME AND IM IN MY 2ND WEEK TAKING IT AS DIRECTED.
I unfortunately found out I had scabies and was freaked because I knew nothing about how to get rid of them. I went to to the doctor and was prescribed the permethrin cream which did nothing but cause me to itch more! finally, I went on amazon and found this product and ordered it, I was skeptical at first, but after a week I noticed my scabies going away and my skin going back to normal, after 2 weeks (2 doses) of this stuff I was cured! to use, I just ingested 1/4 of the tube once a week for 2 weeks (so half the gel) and that was it! I calculated it based on my weight so if you're around 135 that should should work fine!
Took this for Scabies cleated then right up!!!! Took two doses just to be certain ...saved me $107
I had acne as teen, was pretty clear for years and then started getting acne like cysts but only around my nose and cheeks and little bump on my eyelids in my late 30s. Self diagnosed as demodex causing rosacea. Took this orally and my skin is the clearest it’s been since I was a small child.
GREAT PRICE - GREAT PRODUCT! Was nervous at first about getting accurate dosing after watching some videos on Youtube, but this product has markings right on the plunger which made the dosing easy. I just put my thumb nail on the correct mark and put a little pressure on the plunger. Very easy and clean.
I am very happy with this product. I ve spent thousands of dollars on holistic measures to cure: Lyme, Morgellons, etc. In any event, this really helps. I take just a half a finger nail. Next couple of days expels black specks in bath. The best part is the price. Also, I don't over use product. In other words, I use one/twice a month. Please keep in mind, I am petite. So if your larger than do what feels right for body type and weight. But please, start slow. Also, heads up if you have kids, pets, partner, in the house w/you keep your distance. Also, if you want rapid results: Use Paste, then smooth coconut oil over body.
For humans with scabies: don't be scared to try this, and remember it will seem to get worse before it gets better. It's normal after using this to have new sores and dry crinkly feeling eyes. It will go away! The following is from cdc.gov: Oral ivermectin (200µg/kg/dose) should be taken with food. Depending on infection severity, ivermectin should be taken in three doses (approximately days 1, 2, and 8), five doses (approximately days 1, 2, 8, 9, and 15), or seven doses (approximately days 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 22, and 29). End of quote. The dose looks like about the size of toothpaste you put on a toothbrush. Swallow it like a pill and wash it down. Eat a fatty meal with it because this helps your liver process it. Good luck!
What I like most about this product is that it killed the infestation (scabies, there I said it). The price was far more reasoreasonable than what a doctor would prescribe and easily obtainable. Ofcoarse, I do not recommend any one do what I have done. I did some research first and learned how to properly dose oneself. I have not experienced this but they say if you take too much there are some side effects. But they go away given enough time. Again, I wouldn't recommend anyone taking this unless you have done some research on ivermectin treatment for scabies. You may learn a fun fact like horse and human livers can digest ivermectin but cats cannot.
Used it on myself, I am not a horse. The flavor was not terrible.
This does work for scabies. Do not overdose and do not take it every day for weeks though. Those advising this really don't know what they're doing unfortunately. That is not only a waste but potentially dangerous and does not make it any more effective. Take it every five days, at the approximate dose for weight, for about three weeks. It also works in killing bed bugs, but for that, do use it in combination with diatomaceous earth and ecoraider spray (used once every ten days for about three to four weeks).
Men this save my life, I was getting eating alive by my dog fleas but I had a few small amounts of this dewormer and my life came back to normal
Works for humans, too!
Only thing that got my scabies infestation to a reasonable level. I love with 2 scabies deniers and sleep with another when I give up on life because scabies is ruining it.
Whoops, no reviews! Amazon says there are 446 ratings, but NO REVIEWS ARE AVAILABLE. Why? Bug? If it's because there were too many "I ate this reviews" then why weren't the ones above deleted?
Hey, sorry I think I meant the Rosacea thread. The brand I use is Durvet.

I use it at night only mixed with my usual moisturizer.
