i recommend the DW drop clutch. best money i've spent in a long time on a piece of hardware, it also has a locking bottom nut, will not come loose at all. http://www.amazon.com/Drum-Workshop-SM505-Hi-Hat-Clutch/dp/B0009R0A2C
