Get some higher gain antennas or get a couple of these:

Or find a quad one similar to what comes with the ASUS PCE-AC88. I couldn't find one after searching for a few minutes.
laptop or desktop? how is the Bluetooth installed (is the receiver part of the motherboard, a separate card installed, or a USB Bluetooth receiver)?
in general, on a desktop, you want a Bluetooth receiver with external antennas (laptops generally have antennas built into the top half with the screen) the little Bluetooth USB stubby dongles have their uses, but the range is typically poor. if there are antennas, you want them as high as you can reasonably get them, and avoid any obstructions between you & the antennas.
if the antennas attach directly into the PC (either on the motherboard or into a card), try replacing the antennas with one that has a cord so you can get it away from the PC case. this is the one I use (it has antennas for Bluetooth & WiFi) https://www.amazon.com/Eightwood-Antenna-Connector-Magnetic-Wireless/dp/B07XYV92ZY/ref=sr_1_4?crid=1GTZ3CKBBZX7K&keywords=bluetooth%2Bantenna%2Bfor%2Bpc&qid=1644080422&sprefix=Bluetooth%2Bant%2Caps%2C141&sr=8-4&th=1
if it a USB dongle, you can get a USB extension to move it close.
also avoid using Bluetooth around appliances that will interfere (microwaves, cordless phones, even anything with an electric motor can interfere). I have high end Bluetooth headphones I can use all over my house until someone turns on the microwave, then I need to be within 5 feet to get them to work.
You can use any "wifi antenna replacement" (just google that and you're good) but I'd suggest going for an upgrade like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XYV92ZY/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_YHD1QKJHTPJ92Y0XWDCH?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It allows you much more leeway with physical placement of the antenna.
