Cat crap, scope dope.. it's a coating that can be applied to glass. Generally for scopes or binoculars.
Haha! It sounds like I'm referencing real cat poo, but there's a brand of goggle anti-fog called "Cat Crap" (link to Amazon) that works wonders. I do a lot of open-water swims for triathlon, and this works better than pretty much anything else I've tried!
Go on Amazon and get some cat crap it's an anti fogging agent that you can apply to your googles and glasses. Here is a link https://www.amazon.com/EK-USA-Cat-Crap-Eyeglasses/dp/B001ONRP8C/ref=mp_s_a_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=cat+crap+anti-fog+lens+cleaner&psc=1&qid=1570726053&sprefix=cat+crap+&sr=8-6
It's a pain in the ass to get just right, and it's a bit loud. It's not to be ran 24/7, but as the solution to fogging up when it happens. A good set of dual pane and coated lenses will be the main thing that prevents fog. You can also put cat crap on the lense for those especially humid days. If you have any questions on it let me know, I'd be more tha n happy to help out.
There's a product called CatCrap. I don't wear glasses so I can't test it but this works on my ski goggles when they fog up and divers goggles too. It's rainx for lenses.
edit: I realize you said that you were trying to avoid buying something but in case you or someone else decides too, heres a link: https://www.amazon.com/EK-USA-Cat-Crap-Eyeglasses/dp/B001ONRP8C/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=cat+crap&qid=1587654686&sr=8-3 local outdoors stores might carry it too if you're not a fan of Amazon.
Someone recommended this Cat Crap stuff in a recent winter trip report thread. The name was memorable.
I have used this stuff for years. Called "cat crap" it's a paste that you apply to the interior side of the glasses. If you actually want to buy a lot, get it by the case from the manufacturer, half as much direct from them.
Have you tried cat crap? Not actual shit from a cat, this stuff.

? Cat Crap is the name of the anti-fog treatment. If I were you I'd just get a pack of daily disposable contacts just to use for skiing.
there are many coatings that prevent that. I use cat crap for my snow machine goggles.
No, really.

Works wonders. Use it on my vive pro for vr workouts.
Using an anti-fog balm worked wonders for me. I'm told the same can be accomplished with a bit of dish washing liquid diluted in water, but I've not tried that myself.
Cat Crap works great. It's what I use on my lenses. The paste, not the spray.
When I need it I use a lens balm which I got from amazon. I tried an anti-fog wipe and spray before finding the balm, but I felt like those didn't help much.
