This electric bike horn from Amazon is only 10 bucks and pretty loud, and it goes up to 120 db, so that would be nice.
maybe not exactly what youre looking for but I have one of these. it attaches to my backpack and the button is on my shoulder strap. it's pretty effective and easy to reach. I dont know anything that could be attached to a remote, sadly.
Honestly I ride half in the bike lane and half in the street. For lights, do you have an e-assist battery you can tap into for power? For bells, too you could just at a 12v car horn, or you could just buy this: https://www.amazon.com/Electric-Electronic-Bicycle-Waterproof-Rechargeable/dp/B07DCVN728
I can't help you with a camera.
Considering you can get a loud bike horn for around $15 (e.g. https://www.amazon.com/Electric-Electronic-Bicycle-Waterproof-Rechargeable/dp/B07DCVN728/) it is a rather hard sell at $150. If it was $50 then I would understand that.
I am sure its great, and lot better then a budget loud horn, but its probably hard to realize the benefit without actually trying it.
Still think they would be lot more successful if they came back down to earth with the pricing, as there is no components in it that justify the high price other then maybe the R&D costs.
He’s not wrong... that’s a bullshit title. I am waiting on a Ghost, coming in early June though I may end up waiting till late June if I decide to get it with hydraulic brakes. Got this horn:
One of the only parts of my Brompton I dislike is the Bell.
I get that its small and compact and still works, but even the cheap $5 bell on my wife's non-folding bike is better (read: Louder).
I tried a SpurCycle bell, and they're great in low noise environments, but if you throw in city traffic, or pedestrians with earbuds, they're still less useful than the $5 mechanical bell my wife has.
Haven't gotten up to trying https://loudbicycle.com/ (very tempting but expensive).
Right now I'm trying this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DCVN728/ relatively cheap electric horn that seems to work well, doesn't interfere with folding, and can be put on/taken off pretty easily. Didn't quite sound right till I fully charged it.
> Any recommendations?
Oh heck ya. I've tried just about every single audible warning device out there. I've discovered that chirpy sounds don't do anything -- you really need a low-pitched buzzer or honk. These are the four I currently use on my bikes and what I suggest (in order!)
Here is my list of initial additions from Amazon. I replaced the mirrors with one new better mirror from a local bike shop.
