These. They last forever and you can clip them to your work so you don't lose them or mix them up.
They have tiny digital hand-held counters that fit around a finger. You could use two if you have to count more than one thing. I’m a beginner and I live by stitch markers and stitch counters. I mark the beginning of my round each new round and I count each of my stitches with a little digital counter that goes on my pointer finger left hand (I’m right handed so the hand that doesn’t hold the hook). I was having a hell of a time before combining these two wonders.
