EleTab Dual Arm Monitor Stand -... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BF975R9?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Not sure if the link will work, but thats the name up there. They are decent quality arms. I have 2, 27" monitors on them right now. I believe I used a block of wood and some sort of padding (might have come with it, I'm not home to look) when I mounted to avoid scratching the glass.
To be totally honest I'll probably return the desk around Xmas or new year. I'm having an issue where the USB on the side turn off temporarily as the desk shifts from sit to stand but not from stand to sit. Have had it just not change positions a couple of times until I unplugged and plugged it back in. If it were just those two things I'd keep it, but between that, not being able to find clamps for it, and it not being big enough I am likely to just take it back and get a frame then pick a table top from ikea or something.
Yes! Just ordered this particular dual mount. I am still wondering if I should switch to a single 34" or keep the dual mount. I do a lot of documentation review for work and I am using another set up which is a single 34" that I have found to have some challenges: document viewing - two word documents opened are easy to just slide off to another monitor in a dual set up than have Win 10 create side by side, etc.,
This one right here on Amazon.
I have this dual arm, and clamped (not drilled through) I say a safe 1.5" is needed. My desk is about 2.5" from the wall so I can push the monitors further back, but they are still touching the wall.
With that desk, you might consider two single arms and mount one at each end and bring the screens to the middle? This will distribute weight more over the legs and not the middle. I will say that since my desk is close to the wall and a dual arm, getting my screens in the ideal position is tough since the arms don't bend exactly how I want, although this will depend on how the arms you choose are constructed.
Nope not at all. It’s actually very sturdy mount. Usually in the specs with mounts they list the minimal height that they can support. My desk was in a safe range regarding that. Here’s what I purchased.
I got mine off Amazon (US), here is a link...
The quality seems pretty solid to me. They hold up my two monitors no problem and have really good cable management to hide everything.
I have an LG 34UC89G-B with a 21.5 inch second screen to the right.
I have just bought a wall mount for the second screen so I can mount it to the left and put my PC on the desk to the right.
However, I have two questions I would like to ask to you experienced individuals.
Thanks. Also, please no hate for a 2560x1080 display as I had a 34um68-p for a year before this and I am fine with it especially with the hertz it gives me.
Also, I have been using this setup for more than a year so I am really used to while others may find it ugly.
I went with two seperate arms like this. One of my monitors has the VESA mount in the centre and the other just below the centre. This allowed me to get them both at the same height. But mine was from Chinese seller on ebay for about half the price.
Ordered this mount: https://www.amazon.com/EleTab-Dual-Arm-Monitor-Stand/dp/B07BF975R9/ref=psdc_10967501_t4_B00VHN8DPI?th=1
Hoping to be able mess around with it enough to counteract weird vesa placement.
This one from Amazon. It’s great quality and I like the cable management.
