Anything above 50 V/m is considered harmful longterm. You can purchase a tri-field EMF meter like this one to verify. Certain places in your house will have higher and lower levels (wifi, power outlets, circuit breakers…). You can get emf blocking house paint which will significantly reduce this, though you will not get cell signal inside or wifi outside when using that paint. Additionally, there are emf protective hoodies/beanies.
I am going to speak in congress one day and initiate and audit, as per the guidelines of the pressing matter of what this system is actually doing.
In the process of understanding this, I also bought an EMF/ELF/RF Meter. This is what you want. However, it’s going to stop using the band you are trying to record on camera shots… immediately before you take a video/picture. However, it is a great tool for seeing what’s happening. Also… it’s deceptive too, so you have to listen to your heart.

It is funny you say that. I bought a RF meter and found my "smart" power meter from PG&E was blasting RF off the charts. I have a new meter now.

If this is real, one should be able to buy a $120 EMF meter and detect those microwave frequencies at high intensity, right? Then take make a youtube video showing how often it happens.
That's all it would take to bring this from this realm of storytelling to the realm of science.
My GQ EMF-390 meter also picks up a stray electric field V/m measurement when I'm holding the unit with my hand close to the grounding matress I use. When I touch the grounding matress, it goes down to the normal level of about 6V/m stable. I'm thinking it might be a sign of inductive or capacitive coupling due to a dirty ground circuit or maybe my body picking up stray electric oscillations, but that doesn't explain why its only detected when I get near the silver thread matress without touching it.
Yes, but the biggest misconception is that EMFs from electronic devices drop off *radically* with distance. Once you get ~12" away, even the most intense EMF devices in your home are not putting off a measurable amount. You can verify this with a simple device to measure EMFs, here's the one I have.
I walked around my house with it, measuring everything. My conclusion - only devices that are very close to me are worth worrying about, namely my phone and my laptop. So I use a headset/airpods much more now when talking on my phone, and put a pillow on my lap when using my laptop (which also better for neck posture anyway).
TL;DR: Only worry about the EMFs that are less than 6 inches from you.
