At work I have one of these. It is MUCH better than any of the mid-range MFPs we've used in the past. Still doesn't hold a candle to proper high speed scanners but it was worth the cost for us.

I have an epson scanner, works great- has a clear sleeve that lets you put multiple receipts in, to scan at once, double sided, etc…. Cost about $400 5 years ago. Looks like their newer model is a bit cheaper.
