This is the best machete I've ever owned out of about a dozen, and it fits your needs exactly. People often complain on amazon about having to maintain it, but I've had an amazing experience with this and have no qualms maintaining tools. Switched out my axe from my kit because this thing is just wayyyyy more useful.
