Did you read my post? I'm not looking for a gaming chair. I'm looking for something with a soft bottom.

Not sure of that. They are rather weak. I change my chairs nearly all three years.
Well, not true, I will change my actual unit (very similar) and it only have two years. It cannot even bend to a decent angle for my comfort.
Here is the chair I use. I’m 6’0 and 180 lbs and have no problem with long gaming sessions and worst comes to worst and your experience is the complete opposite of mine and you’re only out 1/4 of your budget though I doubt that will happen.

PS: there's tons of youtube videos that show people easily removing the gas cylander from office chairs. but i've tried on the two i have and it's impossible even when I'm swinging the hammar so hard it almost damages the chair.

I bought the same one a month ago, and don't recommend it. Overall it's great, but the cushion on the arm rest is terrible. There are deep impressions on the arm rest (both sides) exactly where I usually rest my elbows after only a months use.

It seems to be going pretty well for him. It is really comfortable and can lean back. Worst case if you don't like it you can always return it.
Use to be any normal chair worked for me. Once my back started showing the signs of being unsupported man that hurt. It began in my early 30s, and my 20s I never had an issue with my back and a random chair. I guess I have been using an unsupported chair for long enough my body is noticing it.

I ordered this chair about a year ago. It works pretty great for me, although I only spent about 2 hours per day in it, so I'm not sure how it will hold up under constant usage. Kinda difficult to put together but once together it was great.

I bought this chair about a week ago and it's been pretty great for me. I'm 6'2 and my head just rests against the back. The cushion isn't too bad but not super soft. It looks nice, and jt's less expensive than the ones in the OP. Depending on how tall you are and how much room you have to work with, I'd go with a high back chair. They're just more comfortable to sit in, I find.
They had DXRacers at CES and the general concensus was "it's okay."
It's more comfortable than your average gaming chair, however most high end office chairs even some decent ones are just way more comfortable and last longer.
The one I have isn't much better in price but it feels like im on a lounging couch.
I'll look around a bit for you, maybe you can upgrade them both for around that price.
Here is a highly rated chair on amazon. Plush back, firm seat, and ability to lean back and rotate. Pretty good all around for $90. It might not look as fancy as a dx racer, but it will likely be just as comfortable.
Now you have some money to toss onto upgrading that gpu. Grab like a 370 or 280x or something. Maybe a 960 is your psu isn't that strong.
That does look really nice, a little over budget, but I could manage. This one is top best seller on Amazon, and my exact budget, so it's a good consideration.
