I would get this instead. I bought mine during some sale from AWD for like 30 or 40 bux or So.

The amazon basics one is not very good. It’s not as easy to move as the ergo tech and has a bigger footprint and adjusting it is also harder to do. I dunno I bought it in 2015 so maybe amazon revised it or who knows . The ergo tech one though is great. I had it for about one year . I used both for my Alienware 34 inch screen both work well with it. I don’t want to bash the amazon one because it’s not a horrible arm and it’s also built like a tank it’s just not very user friendly and not worth the price .
This is what I use with my AW3418DW: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FE2NVV4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
As long as the weight is within the limits, it should be fine. Note that you'll need to use both spaces and the longer screw mounts most likely that are included with the kit. I'm not sure if they include the base as part of the weight as well.
They also sell a lower weight limit arm for standard size monitors.
Ergotech Heavy Duty Freedom Arm, Includes Single Aluminum Heavy Duty Articulating Arm, 20-30.8 lbs. Weight Capacity, Suitable for Monitors up to 27 inches, VESA Compatible 75×75, 100×100, Silver https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FE2NVV4/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_Y1FDRDT69WBGAJP5KKPE?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Been using this one for 9 months with my Asus pg35vq with no problems. Didn't trust the other ones due to the cap being around the weight of my monitor. Gonna warn you, it's a bit difficult to set up but it looks great and it's really sturdy once it's set up.
Have you considered an arm that mounts to your desk?
I got this one from Amazon for about $75
It would just be easier to get it from amazon with the weight, size of the box any deal you got would be lost from shipping alone.
This is the one.
just look at the weight of the monitor without the stand, and find one on amazon that can handle the weight. you're not going to find one specifically designed for a super ultra wide, hell, it's hard finding one that says ultrawide on it to this day even though they've been out for 3 years already.
there is one on amazon made by Ergotech, I had it for my 34" uw and it worked really nice, the one I'm using now would probably work as well but it's a little more money and it's for 3 27" monitors so I think it would just be a waste.
check this one.
I have this for my Acer Predator X34.
Ergotech Freedom Arm, Single Heavy Duty (HD) Aluminum Monitor Arm, Holds Monitor Weighing 20-30 lbs & up to 27". Monitor with Desk Clamp Mount - Silve https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00FE2NVV4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_V4gfvNRL2kPZ7
Ergotech Heavy Duty Freedom Arm is nice.
I spent a lot of time looking at monitors last year and I'd lean towards the 27GL83. I would've bought it if it was available in Australia at the time. You can't go too far wrong either way though.
There are two reasons I'm saying that. The first is that the LG has a better response time and less overshoot at 144h. You can see that in the motion section in your rtings link. I wouldn't imagine the difference between the two will change your experience a lot but it's still worth thinking about. There's at least one good yt vid on ghosting that will give you a better idea about overshoot.
The second reason is that by the time you buy a decent monitor arm with a small risk of sinking down or otherwise behaving badly you're spending close to the price difference anyway. Granted you do get a monitor with an arm vs. a monitor with a stand.
If you're looking at arms, this is the one I had mostly settled on last year if you want to take a look. I'm not sure if I trust the good reviews on the amazon arms and others around the sub-$120 range. There's a bit that can go wrong with moving parts that support weight like that IME. https://www.amazon.com.au/Ergotech-Freedom-Arm-HD-FDM-HD-S01/dp/B00FE2NVV4/ref=sr_1_1
I think im going to get this Amazon basics one and send back the one I got today. This Amazon basics was the one i was originally going to get to begin with.
I got a few days ago from a post here for $20 but it faulty, cant even adjust the tilt its got my monitor looking up to the sky lol wth
Actually, two of these would be. Mount them one on each side of the rig, and mount each arm to one side of the VESA plate.
Ergotech Freedom Arm, Single Heavy Duty (HD) Aluminum Monitor Arm, Holds Monitor Weighing 20-30 lbs & up to 27". Monitor with Desk Clamp Mount - Silver https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FE2NVV4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Nts-Db4281Y40
This one for that 35" you have...

This is the one I settled on after trying 3 or 4. it's definitely a lil more $ than these, but I get a lot of value for my setup.
https://www.amazon.com/Ergotech-Freedom-Aluminum-Monitor-Weighing/dp/B00FE2NVV4/
also, specifically its a heavy duty model and it won't work for displays under 20lb. there are lighter weight versions and also taller versions for tall ppl/standing desk conversions.
I only use 1 screen
its the ACER Predetor X34. This is the mount I use
I have the same model albeit the HW variant. This arm has been on my mind for a long time and should have no problem holding the aw34. What some other people use is the amazon basics arm, but I think the ergotech looks better and its over $20 cheaper.
I have two monitors and still debating on how I want to mount the second one so have still yet to commit on a purchase.
Trying to decide between that one and the Ergotech one:https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FE2NVV4/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
Now that it's about $40 cheaper, I'm leaning towards the Ergotech. Is there any reason not to go with it? I like the fact that the amaozn one is all black, but that's not really worth $40 IMO
It’s tough to find ones specifically for an UW and a second monitor, so I would say look for weight limits and make sure you aren’t exceeding their capacity. I know my dad is going with one of these bad boys for his new UW:
Ergotech Freedom Arm, Single Heavy Duty (HD) Aluminum Monitor Arm, Holds Monitor Weighing 20-30 lbs. Monitor with Desk Clamp Mount - Silver https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FE2NVV4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_6KpgCb9V6PK1B
It’s the heavy duty one so it’ll definitely hold almost any large monitor you can throw at it.
This Ergotech Arm holds a max of 30lbs (your monitor weighs about 26lbs), has the 100x100 VESA mount you'll need for your Samsung, and has all the motion you could ever need. Hopefully this helps you :D
Ergotech Freedom Arm $76.20 at time of post.
There's also the Ergotech Freedom Arm HD. I have the non-HD and it works good. I also have the HD which I attached a crossbar to for 2x 27" monitors. The arm holds the weight perfectly but the tilt plate sags a little. I'm sure it would support a single monitor just fine though. Buyers are saying that it supports the 27" iMac which is 30lbs.
I've had issues with ikea desks like the one you posted. Although it was with triple monitors instead of 1 ultrawide, it basically broke a hole in the desk. I was able to ghetto-rig the desk with these plates of steel but in hindsight, that was an expensive, labor-intensive, and ugly solution.
As for mounting the monitor, I have gone through a couple arms that just weren't strong enough. I was so impressed with this arm:
https://www.amazon.com/Ergotech-Freedom-Arm-HD-FDM-HD-S01/dp/B00FE2NVV4/ref=cm_cr-mr-title
that I actually left a review (something I have never bothered doing before or even since). It looks to be cheaper now than when I got it.
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
I just realized you were asking about the mounts, not the monitors lol my bad.
I actually don't like using dual monitor mounts, since the placement of the monitors would be dictated by the structural design of the mount.
I'm using 2 separate mounts. A "heavy duty one" from Ergotech for the x34 (21.9 lbs) and a decently priced North Bayou for my portrait monitor. I'll include links below.
I’m using ergotech freedom arm for both monitors. The monitor on the left doesnt have vesa attachment so i bought an adapter for it and it’s super light so I don’t need to worry for support.
Monitors are 32in samsung odyssey g5 and 21.5in acer sb220q which I got from a thrift store for 30cad + taxes 😅

I use this on a 27" iMac with VESA mounting:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FE2NVV4
I guarantee it'll hold it up with no issues. 27" iMac is HEAVY.
It's this bad boy right here:
Ergotech Freedom Arm, Single... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00FE2NVV4?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Here's a budget arm that should do the trick:
https://www.amazon.com/Ergotech-Freedom-Aluminum-Monitor-Weighing/dp/B00FE2NVV4
I use it for my 38" ultra wide and it's too light for this thing. I'm sure it would fare just fine with this one.
This is the arm that holds the monitors. If you keep an eye on Amazon you'll see these come up open box rather often. The spring is too strong for a lot the newer lcd monitors so the get bought and sent back. They make the ultrawides feel weightless though.

That's a nice arm. Ergotech Freedom Arm is another solid choice!
You shouldn't have to move your desk much (if at all) -- clamps are not that bulky and the arm is stored behind the monitor... perpendicular to the wall.
Not an expert in this area but just saw some great reviews for the Erogotech Freedom Arm. The review says it is able to hold his 34" and a soundbar. If you have a massdrop you can see it there or go to Amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/Ergotech-Freedom-Arm-HD-FDM-HD-S01/dp/B00FE2NVV4
It's a great price compared to some others out there. Probably going to order one next month as a birthday gift to me.
edit: fix link format
There is lots on amazon that people use, I used an ErgoTech, the amazon basic one works pretty good.
This is what i used for my alienware 34" no complaints whatsoever
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FE2NVV4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have my 34" ultra on one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Ergotech-Freedom-Aluminum-Monitor-Weighing/dp/B00FE2NVV4/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1543453020&sr=8-13

I've been pretty happy with it. Better than any other gas-spring arm I've purchased. I still wouldn't put multiple monitors on it though.
For the ultra wide Ergotech Freedom Arm https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FE2NVV4?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
Just some standard arm for the 27” on the left.
This is the one I currently have and it's quite lovely.

Make sure to check the weight rating for your monitor though. The linked one is tension loaded so if you put a <20lb monitor on it (the arm is for 20-30lbs) you may run into issues.

Edit: Also do yourself a favor and have a buddy for mounting an UW monitor. It's so much easier.
I'm using the Ergotech Freedom Arm HD with my x34 with the grommet mount. Its worked well for me. Some say the non HD mount is fine or better but I have no complaints.
Oh lol sorry, I have used 2. I initially used this one but the i realized i wanted a stacking 2 monitor setup, but now i use this one instead with a 4k on top.
This one may works for you. Ergotech Freedom Arm HD (FDM-HD-S01) https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00FE2NVV4
Someone even use this stand to hold Acer 38inch monitor without any problem. It can hold 20-30.8lbs.
Ok so my fault that is the lighter one. This is the one I purchased back in September of 2017.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FE2NVV4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They're pretty beefy arms, so the monitors need to be heavy.
It's the Ergotech Freedom Arm HD. It's only a little wobbly because my desk isn't the sturdiest, but I feel confident hanging my x34 from it.
The arm is working great so far. I needed something that supports the weight of the PG348Q (~24lbs), options were limited.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FE2NVV4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This one and no issues, best arm I've used yet.
Yeah I'm in SG.
It's two of these
Good luck. I bought this and I have not looked back.
Fantastic mount.
VESA mounts are just referring to the type of standardized mount on the back of monitors. How a manufacturer decides to use that mount leads to products like clamping monitor arms or multiple monitor stands or simply just stand replacements.
I can't seem to find any mounts with a weighted stand to use for a monitor arm.
Here's an example of how a clamp might work on a desk. There shouldn't be any damage to the desk.
But put two arms on a single base. There isn't any flex though. The arms are completely maxed out.
Two of these
But I put both arms on to a single base.
Nice! I have the same monitor and suggest to get an arm for it. The stand simply takes up too much desk space. This is the one that is suggested.
I'm going to give them a try. I found them on amazon (from the vender) for $79.98 a pop... looks like they already started to raise the price back up. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FE2NVV4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
My old ergotron monitor arm couldn't hold up Dell U3415W ultra wide. I had to upgrade for a stronger arm meant for small hdtv.
