I have these arms and went with two singles for my 27” studio displays. These are very rugged and don’t wiggle or move at all. They have some dual monitor arms too, but nothing for monitors over 27” that seen. Not cheap but I can easily see these lasting a lifetime.

My primary issue was being annoyed with monitor shake so I bought really heavy duty monitor arms that take a lot of the shake away and now its barely noticeable. Also having more stuff on the desk like monitors, speakers etc... reduced the wobble as well.

Its the beefy Ergotron HX might seem overkill but thats one beefy display and as far as i know its the only consumer grade one thats strong enough to properly hold it.

That is a 43" monitor, and the Ergotron HX desktop mount monitor arm will do the job quite nicely for a CJ89 or for any 49" flatscreen monitor.

Don't cheap out on the arm, and you should be fine... Get the Ergotron HX. It is very well tested by users here with the CRG9 and known to be rock solid.

I have the cheaper LX version, which is good enough for 34 inchers, but there are video reviews of people installing a 49 inch ultrawide on the HX version and it works great.

Totally agreed and there are a few factors into what price people can afford. I'm lucky to be in Tech and I also look at these purchases as investments to my setup, not just something that gets the job done and I tend to overspend because I care for aesthetics.

For Budget, a lot of those are mass-produced and then distributed under other brands. They just get the job done, don't function that well, low-quality parts, and look meh (low priority).

For me, I'm talking about a monitor arm for 4k, ultrawide, 144Hz+ gaming monitors which are usually more expensive, so I invest in higher quality mid-range arms.

Lastly, there is the high-end category. This is where I don't believe in purchasing unless you have infinite buying power and you're exclusively looking at aesthetics or brand name.
